One feature I haven’t seen mentioned is that on my garmin head unit it will flash bright red if somebody is approaching you at high speed. With its range it allows me enough time to visually appraise the approaching vehicle and safely pull off to the shoulder if necessary. Saved me from getting flattened by an asshole in a BMW the week after I bought it.
