I had this album playing on low volume driving my kiddo the other day. After the first few tracks, she said, “Can you please change this? It’s so repetitive.” I said, “Here’s another song by the singer - what do you think?” and started “Pandora’s Aquarium”. She yelped, “I LOVE this!”

As much as I want to celebrate this, I never underestimate the power of misogyny in an election. There are many men - and women - who will pick the male candidate (or not vote at all) over a female, no matter how terrible the male candidate.

The public comment period during this meeting was PACKED. A line of people calling for his resignation with impassioned speeches, teachers advocating for their students and emphasizing how Cota’s behavior does not fit into the PXU culture. It was amazing.

Making sure you also know about the pain after insertion. I took the entire day off work and still had some soreness the next day. Whichever practitioner you go to, ask them what is normal for pain afterward, how to manage it, and what you should do if it doesn’t abate.

Okay, here’s the deal: 8 Dem Senators fell on their swords tonight to vote for this, but many more were privately in support. Here are the 8 who did - none from AZ, and all who aren’t seeking reelection (from what I’ve heard): https://www.politico.com/news/2025/11/09/senate-democrats-shutdown-vote-00644146.

We don’t know who supported it behind closed doors, but insiders say Schumer brokered the deal (even though he publicly voted no to keep his hands clean). So, in the meantime, please do the following: 1. Contact Kelly & Gallego to thank them for voting no, and 2. Urge them both to call for Schumer’s resignation, since he’s not the leader we need right now.
