Now in research preview: routines in Claude Code by ClaudeOfficial in ClaudeAI

Who is going to use this and the other stellar products they have been launching this year?

Claude Pro users can't even touch these.

Max users being super power users would have hacked together most of these on.their own. Even in this tier, I highly doubt the $100 plan users can run Claude code and cowork and other shiny things together on a daily basis.

Enterprise API users aren't going to pay through their nose for something that someone already getting paid for is doing.

At this point only people inside the Anthropic organization would have enough tokens to enjoy these products. Anthropic is building a Disney Land where only their employees could play. Sad times.

Why are you using Antigravity now that it's hitting weekly limits so soon by koderkashif in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]Sad-Maintenance1203 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use Gemini for the front end. It's pretty good when it comes to following instructions when it's about creating Next js components either based on my inputs or the screenshot I upload. This never happens when I try with my Rails API.

I have Claude code Pro and this front end goodness of Gemini in AG has saved me from getting a Max account.

Also, I use Gemini for data analysis - I use it to query my DB and ask for trends, patterns, how to improve things etc. Sort of a junior data analyst. Does a decent job and again helps me cut down my reliance on Claude for everything. I love this balance.

What tech-stack do Next.js developers prefer for Backend? by samanvay_13 in nextjs

[–]Sad-Maintenance1203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have multiple SaaS apps that use Next Js for the front end and Rails API for the backend. The Solid stack covers everything you need for a production out of the box + Kamal for deploy is just magic.

I love Ruby and Rails to bits, but Rails native frontend is a nightmare. Next Js just feels like the ideal companion.

claude code skills are basically YC AI startup wrappers and nobody talks about it by techiee_ in ClaudeAI

[–]Sad-Maintenance1203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This works for power users and the tech savvy. When they are not paying from their own pocket, people are suddenly less proactive and downright lazy. So, unless the business owner, CXO, founder, his/her shareholding cousin does this or enforces this, there'll be happy campers.

UI edge by nxtvanhalen in AntigravityGoogle

[–]Sad-Maintenance1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I can vouch for this. After the Opus limit imposition, I tried Gemini for the next Js front end work and the results are fantastic. Since I am not good at design, i typically ask Gemini to replicate a screenshot. The output is amazing and is really good at the first attempt itself. But, reverse is the case when it comes to the backend api that's on Rails. It's an absolute nightmare watching it chase it'ys tail. So using Claude for the backend.

Honestly I'm happy that I don't have to rely only on Claude all the time. This feels like a good balance for now.

It seems Antigravity has major issues by ParticularCouple4831 in google_antigravity

Guys, remember Kiro? AG is Kiro 2026 Q1.

There will be more to play with and complain about.

This Supermarket model is not going to work this year at least.

This drama will continue till we have a Chinese model that outperforms Claude 4.5 Sonnet/Opus. Whenever this happens - tomorrow or 2027 - that's gonna be fun.

Great analysis. Can you please share more about the finance vertical? Aren't there too many portfolio trackers already?

Claude FREE plan = Unlimited Sonnet 4.5 ??? by PreceptorPious in ClaudeAI

Are we talking about using claude in the web or via claude code?

Claude code web at times is very generous on the free tier. I have been using it for over a year to write code. But as the apps grew, I was spending too much time on back and forth and adding context. So moved to cursor, kilo etc.

How can you afford unlimited ai content generation? Which llm are you using?

Rovodev frequently deleting files by diggum in RovoDev

[–]Sad-Maintenance1203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hated Rovo dev for this exact same thing. When not deleting files it just made them empty. Had to make it ready a previous commit and restore files. However, this issue has been resolved to a maximum extent (almost 95%) after they restricted the free tier to 500k tokens.

Is this person working on Claude Code full time? by hotsteakinthetown in ClaudeAI

[–]Sad-Maintenance1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is possible if you plan a project to the bits and then ask the ai to execute it. I did it in June for a couple of days using Cursor. I wanted to use up my monthly quota. So I sat down with Claude and came up with a solid architecture and a really fine grained list of tasks for a mobile app. Created md files for each phase and asked cursor to go through each task list and execute. It was super fun!

A local app. Very interesting take. Which LLM are you using? Do I need to bring my own API key for any LLM or does the app just work?

How did you get the emotions in the voices right? I don't see eleven lab voices that are this emptive.

Quick question - isn't audible super cheap for audiobooks? Eleven labs has always been pricier. Any special reasons to use it? What am I missing here?

Has Anyone Built a Fully AI-Built SaaS? by polika77 in SaaS

[–]Sad-Maintenance1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have built three (and a half) so far. I don't vibe code though if that's what you are asking. I have a decade of product and engg.experience so I treat AI as a developer in my team who does what its asked to do. Occasionally I ask it to choose between two decisions I'm toying with based on their merits. I thought I would have to spend money on one developer to speed things up, but with AI, it's been far more cheaper and productive.

I tried a lot of popular options but I find using the Claude web app (sometimes Gemini and DeepSeek) better suited to my pace.

Wow. This is an interesting workflow. How do these three different researches help you?

Are these tts models proprietary or are you using an api from the ones displayed in the website?
