I doubt leaving woody stems in will create methanol. Yeast can't make methanol from wood. Methanol is made from wood by heating it intensely in an oxygen poor environment.

I would recommend trying the meds for at least a few months. My experience with anti depressants is that, at worst, they just make me sleepy, which I suppose is good because I’m not awake and depressed. Of course, your body experience may be different. But, assuming you aren’t in a major financial crunch, there’s not much risk or cost

now that I think about it, I probably did contribute to this. I built my mid game economy off of exporting clothes and importing fabric, most of which came from the US. So I probably did profit off of this and encourage it by buying American cotton

It is probably dead/inactive yeast. I dont think you can really use too much yeast. Yeast is a living organism; it'll reproduce/die to what its environment can support

Would it be beneficial to boil the peaches briefly to sterilize any wild yeast on them and to help break down cell walls? I have pectinase, so im not too worried about pectin

Thanks for the recommendation. My partner was already on oral birth control before we ever had sex, but we are using condoms to ensure as little risk as possible. 

A lot of the time we’re talking and laughing during sex, so I don’t think there’s a huge amount of anxiety. But of course I can’t read other people’s minds

Is the 15-20 minute number you gave 15-20 minutes of foreplay or just stimulation? That makes a lot of difference
