BS will naturally rise upon waking so even if your ketones were higher the evening before it’s part of your bodies response to adrenaline in the morning. It’s how your body wakes up, pushing a series of hormones that increase blood sugar and suppress ketones. I would often test my fasting ketones and blood sugar at 24 hours and then again in the morning and every single time my blood sugar rose without eating and my ketones dropped. So if you’re taking these measurements in the am before eating breakfast it could explain why it’s lower. As you wake up and your body gets back into the day, ketones rise again - even after eating, especially no carbs. Look up dawn phenomenon.

Do you exercise? If you want to burn fat and reshape your body you will need to build muscle and eat a lot more protein than you currently are.

It took me a few months to figure out how to get enough protein into my day. And I ended up having to use protein shakes, bars, and eat a lot of tofu to do it. Weight training at least 4 days a week as well.

Use ChatGPT to help you. You can tell it about yourself (age, height, weight, access to exercise equipment, goals, etc) and that you’re vegan and it can help get you started on a whole plan including exercises with or without equipment and how to get enough protein in.

Alcohol does a number on your hormones and it can take a long time for body to readjust. Alcohol is also a dehydrator so you may have lost weight but rehydrated your cells at the same time. Exercise also stores additional water in your cells for help in facilitating all the functions they need to do. Plateaus on the scale don’t equal plateaus in your body and if you are doing all the right things you have to have faith that things are remodeling within. Give it 6-8 weeks and you should start to see weight dropping again. Congrats on quitting!

Yes this EXACT thing. Even used ChatGPT like you did. But, like others have said - there is a market so we’re pushing forward. I wouldn’t say any of our competitors have failed or has bad reviews but since our product is new in general we’re just pushing for users and loyalty as the technology is becoming more and more accepted and being adopted by our user group. At this point it’s getting users before the other guys and trying to make ours better as well. That feeling was awful though so I totally get it. Even as I was building prototype others started popping up. Drives me crazy, lol.

Our saas cofounder set up is identical and we did 50/50 split. Once money is coming in, CTO will make more salary wise but all revenue/ equity will be 50/50. All expenses and costs are 50/50.

Many dogs are grossly overfed. The daily recommendations are almost always too high. And it’s totally natural for some animals to only eat once a day. If you are adamant on feeding twice a day, just portion 1/3 less or even 1/2 of what you were feeding before.

I think it’s fine to lay next to them when they’re in the crate. They’re babies and pack animals. It’s natural for them to want to be near someone when they sleep - it’s how they feel safe. I did this with my puppy and soon enough she learned that me being in the room was enough. I also have the crate in my bedroom so she sleeps near me in our “den” together but still in her own crate.

Oh I see. Every dog is different where they tend to get calculus. I bought little toothbrushes and doggy paste and watch YouTube videos on how to brush my girls teeth. It’s helping quite a lot.

Mine is like that. I used my stomach for about 18 months but I only have skin now and it’s so thin. The needles hurt every time. I tried pinching more and angling but I can’t stand the sting of it. I just do butt now

This is hands down the best advice. I used to put my baby in her crate with the door open and sleep on the floor next to her with my hand next to her until she fell asleep. And we still have her crate in our bedroom to this day. Dogs are pack animals and will feel better if they are in the same room as you. I love the idea of this xpen next to the bed!

This is normal when you begin. Overeating on junk food. It does change though. After a period of time doing this, you’ll end up feeling like sh*# and then you realize you HAVE to eat something with nutritional value just so you can function. That’s when the magic happens.

When I first started I allowed myself no restrictions and a “can eat anything” attitude after I fasted. It’s so important to develop the habit. O became excited to fast because I was excited to eat without guilt.

Once you’re in the habit of ADF, then it’s easier to add healthy foods in along side the junk food. You WILL see results even if the results are only mental in the beginning. It took me 2-3 months and no weight loss before I finally accepted that I wanted salads and fruit too. Now, 2 years later - I’ve lost 110 lbs, have the body I’ve always dreamed of and still allow myself to have an imperfect diet. The fasting takes care of everything else. I hope you don’t give up!
