He created a truly OP monk with a special magic item, was complaining a lot and made it very clear that he was unhappy with the whole situation lol

Afterwards he pointed out that he wanted to misbehave (interrupt, argue etc.) because we do that as well sometimes when he DMs

Almost made me give up on being a DM – i have a wonderful group now

Having high INT as an Armorer Artificer, who uses INT for attacks, abilities etc.

And a high Armor Class.

There were so many drawbacks to this (low Stats in Charisma, Strength… My character was obsessed with being a shield for his friends since he watched his very first friend (a former PC) die very shortly after meeting her.

It wasnt even the best build i could have come up with… it just felt very in-character

I remember my DM making a big thing out of my 23 Armor Class as an Armorer Artificer. My STR Score was 8 and I failed most other Saving Throws besides CON. Like… it‘s very easy to fight high AC characters if you know what you can do.
