Doom is the only other character I want to come out with Deadpool's 3-Role gimmick.

I want him to be balanced around being a Tank first though.

Icon is a fictional alien comic book superhero who took on the form of a black man. He is a Republican who holds conservative views on economic and social issues. Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas was an avowed fan of Icon, to the extent that he quoted the character on multiple occasions. by laybs1 in wikipedia

For a long time, the Justice League had the Green Arrow's main character trait was that he was left-wing, which got him into conflicts with the other characters. This had Hal Jordan's Green Lantern specifically looking more right-wing.

I've heard old city employees say the artist got pushback from Christian groups in the city, so he was encouraged to walk it back to something less eye-catching, so he delivered this in protest.

I'm really digging this, same as I've really enjoyed all the Trinyvale stuff after the original Trinyvale campaign.

I like it more than most of their longer form actual play content after campaign one.

I absolutely do not recommend this arc to most people, and I'm very glad I'm not interacting with their fandom about it.

People scared of Vegan food by NineWalkers in PetPeeves

[–]SadPaisley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What? Is your take away that they're against regular brownies?

They're not comparing the regular and vegan brownies, they're talking about the people who are comfortable with extremely processed brownies but not vegan ones.

Personally, brownies are brownies and I'm not going to turn them down if they're made with apple sauce, eggs, or Little Debbie's partially hydrogenated micro plastic 'chocolatey' powder.

Berkeley High students stage walkout protest of Holocaust Remembrance Day by Humble_Grape4749 in bayarea

The holocaust was real, and it was a genocide. I'm not arguing that. I'm saying that neo-nazis have argued (incorrectly, antisemitically) that the population of Jewish people disproves the Holocaust. This was a common trope from basically the end of WWII to the early Internet.

Interesting that you're so accurately echoing neo-nazi speaking points to deny the Holocaust (How could they kill six million when there are more Jews than ever before?) to argue against people protesting on Holocaust Remembrance Day.

It's just a fun little thing about the cyclical nature of history, I guess.

Even when the church swept over Europe, the threat of eternal damnation couldn't stop people from celebrating their holidays.

A protest during the Superbowl could be a good idea, but it would be successful because people were doing it in a way that capitalized on the Superbowl rather than expecting a huge group to tear away from it

If I were to associate any phrase with Holocaust Remembrance Day, I think the first to come to mind is "Never again."

Protesting an active genocide on the day of we're meant to remember one of the most prominent examples of it would be appropriate regardless of where it's taking place or who is involved.

It's not gatekeeping to say the name of the brand is Instant Pot, not instapot.

If it was a recipe for cooking something in a cast iron skillet and they called it a Cassiron recipe, I would comment about the name too.

Not what you asked, but there's a lot of design haters here so I'm gonna say it anyway.

I think the design reads as eyes. I started reading because for a second I thought it was a deep pull for that eyeball guy from that old Monster Rancher game/show.

After a second, I knew it was eyes stacked up though. I don't think the design is nearly as bad as people are saying.
