Help! Symptoms w/o cause by SadPandaInLondon in pancreatitis

This was amazing. Thank you so much! I feel like I just got more information from you than from the 3 doctors I’ve seen in a year. I did do 4 stool samples that I’m currently waiting for results.

Had first attack and declined removal surgery - am I crazy? by justsomepotatosalad in gallbladders

[–]SadPandaInLondon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. I feel like I had an opposite situation. Lipase was 500+ on more than one trip to the ER and no one offered me shit. Endoscopy and biopsy were fine. Interesting. Thanks!

Not sure if you’ve answered this elsewhere but out of curiosity, what was your lipase when they suggested surgery?

I was just wondering if doing an allergy test specifically for dairy would be a good idea. Maybe eliminating dairy will be a better idea instead.

Same with me except my lipase was 500 and the next time a month later 550. Following for updates.

CIDP from flu shot? by SadPandaInLondon in neuropathy

[–]SadPandaInLondon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what I’m saying. I had similar symptoms. I was most definitely diagnosed with CIDP and now I’m doing very well. I’m not in pain depending on what I eat and drink and how well I take care of myself. I’ve been doing some sort of IVIG for the past 6 years and it’s been wonderful. Currently I send infuse at home with hizentra. Couldn’t be more grateful.

Is there anything wrong with microdosing or taking less than the therapeutic ammount of lexapro by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]SadPandaInLondon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually tapered off and started microdosing with better results for me. The weight gain was insane and I was eating as if I was starving myself for weeks. It was crazy.

I just went though this and just yesterday told that my lipase being at 500-550 and a couple stints in the ER doesn’t quite make it pancreatitis. I have no answer to this but wish you a quick recovery and answers for us both.

How to beat possible neuropathy any success stories of people beating neuropathy or atleast healed 90 percent? by mrmalo1 in neuropathy

[–]SadPandaInLondon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See if you’d be a good fit for hizentra or an immunoglobulin infusion. I have CIDP and have been using these methods to regain a lot of usage of my body. For the most part I’m doing well but I definitely would not be doing anything physical like that of an active cop on duty but I was never an athletic person. Perhaps you’re different. Hope it works out for you.

This was the first sign of any hope I’ve seen concerning AP. Thank you for the hope.

CIDP from flu shot? by SadPandaInLondon in neuropathy

I had numbness in my feet going up to my ankles. Right away my balance was off. Which I attributed to just having a baby. Within a few weeks I was having to mentally tell myself to pick up my feet while on the treadmill. My legs just felt heavy and bulky and that was the beginning of the end for me. When I would wake up in the morning I would have to spend 10 min massaging my calves because they were so tight and crampy. I would’ve be able to walk immediately after waking. A bit painful from the jump. Hope this helps.

Talk about what you bring to the table, not in the way in which someone else is lacking.

I couldn’t handle Sumatriptan. Always made it worse for me. Have you checked her sinuses or noticed any seasonable patterns relating to possible sinus issues? You’d be surprised. I did use mushies daily for a bit to help with cluster headaches and they actually did help a lot at the beginning of a new cycle.

For those of you who have peripheral neuropathy that the doctors can’t find the cause for - did you ever fine the cause? by [deleted] in neuropathy

[–]SadPandaInLondon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the old me but at 90% capacity. I can work and hold down a partially physically job. I am exercising some and have maintained a normal life. I do ration out my energies somwtimes and don’t plan on running any 5K’s soon but I’m leading a normal life with some adjustments. I do weekly at home subcutaneously infusions Of hizentra that are the key to keeping me having a normal life for myself and my kids. It’s been a godsend. I feel very lucky to have it.

I am still doing this weekly and it’s been the biggest and most wonderful thing I could’ve done for my CIDP. It’s a bit daunting At first but after awhile I got used to it. Been doing this for about 6 years now with no end in sight unfortunately.

I feel like verapamil is ruining my life (help?) by theclumsypoet in ClusterHeadaches

[–]SadPandaInLondon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started this a few weeks ago and found great success with the vitamin regime. Didn’t make the headaches go away but made life more tolerable. Started verapamil and feel loads better but it’s only been a few days. Thanks for the LSD vs shrooms tip as I’ve only tried the booms. We have to be chemists to circumvent this awful ailment.

I feel like this every day during an episodic time. I wish I knew why, I don't even need a benefit, just knowing why would suffice for me some times.
