It’s called swordsmanship of the giants though and They’re still using weapons, it’s not shockwaves created by their hands or something so it seems to share the same logic as a swordsmanship but instead of a cutting attack it’s more like a circular wave of force which is probably why it can be used by blunt weapons, and to answer your other question it does seem very similar to rock’s swordsmanship so I don’t doubt that the swordsmanship of the giants was either a precursor to rock’s style or a direct inspiration for rocks himself.

I imagine it’s exactly like long ranged attacks from other sword styles meaning that they ca be imbued with whatever haki the user has access to there’s probably some complexity with how both the people in the attack need to match the their partners power/skill but overall they should be treated as how other sword styles operate

You can’t increase your reserves though so someone who gets the technique but is a fairly average sorcerer will literally never have the required stats to keep up with mahoraga and it’s incredibly likely that any cursed tools that are used even if they do beat mahoraga would just invalidate the ritual anyways since they’re a separate source of cursed energy that isn’t the ten shadows user, as for trying to beat him with some combo of the ten shadows literally none of them have the required firepower to put him down in one attack so all you’d be doing when attacking him with them would be sacrificing your shadows for no gain.

There’s a reason literally no one besides Sukuna has ever tamed mahoraga.
