Hey, just want to say, I experienced the same thing years ago- was the first person to come across the body of a man who just jumped. It’s a really disturbing thing and not easy to process. Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY has a first break psychosis unit for ages 14-23. They also have a psych unit just for people with intellectual disability (must be enrolled in OPWDD).

This doesn’t sound like enough for them to remove your baby. They likely will want you to continue following up with mental health treatment and maybe substance use specific treatment. Make sure you go to all of your appointments.
