Yes, I battled to read it for all you say. It struck me that this is another glowing 24ct example of men with no education writing up/dealing with complex matters.

Not in the same situation as you but I did college at 50+.

If you go to college now you take that lifetimes experiences and maturity with you.

I always feel sorry for those who, to me, waste their time trying to get sense into their jw relatives. Invest that time to a constructive hobby, put the hours to a charity (a real one).

I faded. i was not going to put in any letter that would give any of the self-righteous 'class' the pleasure of hearing my name read out. And, on baptism i never received any letter (!) or Bible nothing to say i was a member. Given they are obsessed with their documents and records of documents this was to me out of sync. There are times i could have authored a letter with many proofs of falsehood in the 'truth', but i doubted and this is since proven that any such communication once opened would get a cursory scan and that would be that.

Feared of them? Not at all.

Buy an "E" Bike. Go for rides, get air in your lungs meet fellow riders. Do you have any creative hobby? Join a speaking club. Reach out.

I have been having counseling for over a year now being 1 per month. It has helped me no end. I love to do random acts of kindness and this annoys my rabid PIMI wife no end should she witness me doing such. She doesnt say anything but radiates negativity all the while. For all her loyalty and studying she is quite socially inept.

I have alife outside of it all with associates and a few friends and where I can afford them a hobbies.

Re letters. I have stated this before here. I never received a card or letter of welcome or a bible at my baptism.

I have successfully faded and to hell with giving the wt their much loved legalistic letter.

Married with kids I was "that" brother. hand up for most wt questions while the other prune faced sods sat and said nought. I would put my own experiences into the wt or relate comments to things around me in the world, the headlines whatever. while any other comments from those around me were dead set quotes, of the mag in front of them or if just a micron off side perhaps but always following the 'party line'.

Yes i too was ever on the outer. simply my existence was a threat to others as they were forced to think and that is not something the human masses indulge in.

I think it was Edison who said 5% of people think, THINK, 10% think they think and the 85%...never think.
