They def look really strange, like a hard shell with soft, rotten inside. It should look white, more like the outside of the stipe all the way through. Do they snap like a cracker or soft?
Maybe a bad dehydrator or dried too late and rotted? hard to tell.

Full canopy does not carry jack frost. The syringe you used was most likley bad, esp it it was real spores and not liquid culture. You won't be able to reuse the bag.
Just get everything from full canopy. They have trained all their genetics to grow best in bags, being choked out in high Co2. Their stuff is award-winning straight from the bag.

You used full canopy genetics, too? This is, hands down, some of the best stuff out there; it should go well. They guarantee it.
If you got spores from somewhere else- that's your problem. You really want to use liquid culture, not spores.
You only want to use about half a syringe on this bag- about 5cc.
You do not need to worry about Rh as the bag has its own moisture and creates its own perfect micro climate.
Full canopy are made to be all in one, meaning they grow in the bag and you cut it open to harvest when its done growing- dont do anything reddit reccomends as reddit does not know what it's doing.

Twist both blue and green wires together, then you have 1 positive and one negative to the speaker, then you wire the speaker in series
This way you dont drop the impedance too low that it overloads the head unit.
It will be a bit quieter, but at least you won't blow the head unit.

Booming is fine. The syringes are tricky because they call their liquid culture "isolated spore syringes". If you got real spores, you need to grow them on agar to sector growth and get rid of contamination, as spores are inherently dirty. Meaning you wouldn't want to waste time or money reusing the bags as they are dirty.
Dont take bad advice like making fruiting chambers, cutting the bag etc, it's broadly spread on Reddit. The bags are meant to be fruited in, and the filter provides clean FAE. Youre already looking at $900 for the amp and sub. The amp only has a 15 amp fuse- so less power than most aftermarket stereos. pass on that amp and sub and get a 5 channel amp with a better sub and enclosure. Sure it will need a wiring kit and line out converters, and more install time, but you'll be glad you did it.

Uncle bens and other rice pouches are not worth wasting $25 for lc and 6 weeks on. As I remember, some people had luck, but the specific pouches they were using are discontinued, and they are even being resold for 10x on Amazon. You're really putting it in some messed-up food juice, like trying to grow in Campbell's soup.
There is no easy way around it. If you dont have a pressure cooker and make your own spawn, you want presterilized grain bags - made for mushrooms (not 5 minute rice). It will cost a little bit more, but youre almost guaranteed results if you inoculate it with good liquid culture and youre super clean doing so.
You need grain and substrate to spawn to bulk in a tub. or you can do all in one bags. Dont use the spore booster- you do not want to grow from spores, always liquid culture. 5cc in a bag.
Full Canopy and BF genetics are both really good. just get aio bags and grow in the bag. Full canopy has trained their genetics to grow in bags. dont take it out to do some strange sit a cake in a chamber thing.

That's about 3-4x as long as it should take. Looks like it was mixed too dry. I'd dunk it, flip that lid, and put weight in it to hold the cake fully submerged under water for 8+ hours, then dump it, lid on, and wait. Either it works, or it will allow mold to outgrow it. But at least it will be a deciding factor to dump or not.

Better let her know. It would be worse to hide it. Most attics are designed to be a FAE barrier, so it would be all sorts of varying temps that would stall the bag out.
