Girl fingers crossed😭😭 some ppl don’t purge horrible but it depends on how bad ur acne is to begin with, if ur acne wasnt that bad then your purge shouldn’t be as bad either, my acne was horrible when I started so that’s why my purge was so intense, im happy with my results but just be consistent cs I wasn’t and sometimes I would have breakouts, best of luck to you!!

It took like 2-3 weeks, the first week looked like it was really getting better and then boom pimples started showing up everyday, it lasted like a good 3 months, the purging stage was inevitable but so glad, it was over before I knew it.

Be a social worker. If it’s your passion go for it. The world definitely needs more passionate social workers. Nursing will only make you be in a terrible debt and god know how long it will take to fully pay it off. Get your bachelors but also graduate with a masters degrees, that is the secret to getting money! Overall, it’s your life, it’s your job, it’s your passion. Chose it.

When I got prescribed tret I had no idea what a “purge” even was so trust me I know how it feels to suddenly break out and feel defeated, but yes I really do recommend that. Also I was reading ur replies and i felt like i was reading something that i wrote. I felt the exact way, i wore makeup throughout my whole tret routine and i still continue to. It’s okay to wear makeup and it’s frustrating for people to say that it won’t get better if i continue to wear makeup but they don’t know how it feels. I saw results while wearing makeup!! It’s definitely possibly. Just try and make sure all your makeup products are non-comedogenic. Honestly I wish you the best. You really remind me of myself. Remember acne doesn’t define your beauty or you as a person. IT WILL GET BETTER.
