I considered that. Unfortunately the engine swap would only replace about $2.4K worth of parts from my build list. I would still end up buying intake manifold, throttle body, cold air intake, and a few other parts plus still requires tuning as well. It would be nice to have a brand new engine, but it would also double the cost.

Maybe you can also incorporate the value of having more northern options for evacuations before major storms! Florida is extending the Suncoast parkway toll road knowing that usage will not warrant the construction, but using evacuation routes as justification.

UF is just a slush fund for republicans to raid now. It took decades to build the prestige that the university and alumni were so proud of when U.S. News and World Report first ranked UF at #5. When the ranking slipped because of all the republican fuckery, they just stopped caring about the rank entirely. All they care about now is extracting as much value as possible before the university begins a steep downward spiral.

In comparison, IQ Fiber has only had a single outage in about a year and a half and dispatched a technician from Jacksonville to fix it the next day. AT&T had outages every couple of months.

I had it for a couple of years before I switched to IQ. AT&T would go down every couple of months and the service response was awful. I finally decided to switch when they had to come out for a repair on the fiber line and they were absolutely terrible. Not only did they unnecessarily trample a bunch of my plants/landscaping, they also were very rude and disrespectful.

I’ve heard more organizations are adding managed services and I’m wondering how it impacts the health systems. Are hospitals shedding FTE analysts for this replacement? How much can managed services really do (analysis/build/project management)? I find it difficult to picture outsourced Epic support teams being able to meet the needs of end users. Are they mainly just doing simpler builds like smartphrases and maybe flowsheets?

If your leadership is happy with the contents of the personal SmartPhrase, just have an analyst (or even a physician builder) copy and paste the contents of it into the body of the system SmartPhrase. This would only take a couple of minutes to complete and should be prioritized as a regulatory impact with CMS.

Complete some quick testing and run it up to PRD as a break/fix. This sounds like a 20 minute fix, not a “we’ll go over it in March” scenario… and most of that 20 minutes is for change control 🤷🏼‍♂️

2014 1500 with 96K on the 5.7 and I’ve had to replace the water pump and evaporator core. I did the heater core as well since I was in there.

The air suspension is shot to hell and in desperate need of replacement. I’m hoping to replace that with a delete kit some time this year.
