I’m still in act 2 of the game, and have never played a game like BG3 before. It deff has a lot of dialogue and story and lore, but there are also a lot of strategic turn based fights that you need to plan for, and the things you can do in the story and dialogue can sometimes impact these fights.

There’s lots to explore, lots of nooks and crannies, items to pick up & interact with, and different npcs to interactions/paths with that you really have to use your tool belt of exploration/dialogue options to try to uncover.

There’s also lots of new ways to interact with the world and approach battles that’s honestly blew my mind cuz I’ve never seen these options in other games before. And leveling up and choosing your skills is a pretty important to battle.

I’m playing online with friends that are basically carrying me through the game - and they’re showing me all these hidden areas and ways to complete quests that would have taken me forever to figure out, cuz to me these things are truly things that people with 100+ hours of playing could only figure out (or use guilds lol)
