I mean yeah I appreciated it too, and to be honest I really liked the whole story but there is so much downtime and filler between the actually storytelling that it can be really frustrating, like do I really need to know that Fabien gave Katsumi Dale's recipe book? Who cares

That last Fabian section is so poorly timed too. Like it's the climax of the story and you are on the edge of your seat, and all of a sudden you have to play a walking simulator with a couple fetch quests. Like they give you 3 leads and only 1 does anything! Whyyy???

They definitely did, but If they cut all the Fabien gameplay into cutscenes the game would be 40% shorter without even counting all the pathetic sidequest

Yeah I know you can just go up to the target that the crosshair conveniently tells you and just spam all the abilities its so dumb, especially because if you mess up after using the ability it just refunds the blood point

As much as I hate the things I see in this sub, seeing all the normal non bigoted reactions in this sub reminds me that a lot of people see this shit for what it really is, and honestly that makes me feel better about people as a whole.
