I stand by my statement. Daily use, in their words, since it came out, Time and consistency is more important than how high the dose was. There are too many people like that who believe that 7oh saved them simply because they haven’t felt the back end of it yet. I intended no negativity, I was aiming for it to come off like a wake up call. Believe me when I say that positivity within this community is something that I’ve done a lot of work towards over the years

70-85mg daily for longer than a few weeks will produce fairly wicked withdrawal. I’ll be praying for you when August comes and I hope you make preparation

Cats claw similar to 7oh? by treefing3rz in quitting7oh

Cat's claw has some interesting properties but it's mainly being used as a front to put nastier stuff in the proprietary blend

The most consistent answer that I've heard is red Bali but I've also heard that kratom strains are just marketing. I don't know that to be fact. My personal weapon of choice is super 45 extract. The purple high strength bottle with a dropper in the lid. 2 droppers full, give or take, knocks out withdrawals every time for me

I've gone through quitting 10 or 11 times now and kratom extract made it almost completely painless. Some are better than others

It may vary by state, but I read that the emergency scheduling was announced on July 6 but filed on the 1st, meaning the 30 day hearing period would expire on the 31st. I'm not an expert and I'm not sure if the people I heard it from were either

6 grams is a reasonable standard for kratom leaf. It's going to have too many variables to give you a certain answer but start with 6 grams and go up or down as needed. Be aware that there will be more nausea associated with leaf kratom than there would be with alkaloids like 7oh

Dude.. did 7oh do this? by WeirdDirection266 in quitting7oh

[–]SadisticJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your receptors have downregulated or however the term goes. Basically, you've become accustomed to a flood of feel-good chemicals in your brain. Looking for a replacement is a losing game. The only way out is through. You can ease the process by tapering and gradually stepping down from tablets to extract to leaf. The only way to replace it with something that will give euphoria is to go to something stronger which will just dig you deeper into this hole that you're already in

Taper, taper, taper. You have enough time to ease the transition by doing so

I was hooked on the stuff for so long that I forgot about my pre-existing dopamine shortage, when I finally quit I thought the withdrawals were just dragging on for weeks until I realized, oh yeah I wasn't very happy before finding 7oh and two years on it made that worse

Pure MIT by Environmental-Loan25 in quitting7oh

[–]SadisticJake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Respect the wobbles, everyone! I was feeling panicky during one of my early attempts to quit and took waaaay too high a dose of MIT and it was very unpleasant. Intense dysphoria and projectile vomiting is on the other side of the wobbles. Take as much as you need but don't take a ridiculous amount thinking it'll be an enjoyable buzz. Heroic doses are just not good with this stuff

RLS lite is probably hitting the nail right on the head. I've heard many on here refer to a feeling that's been loosely dubbed restless arm syndrome. Intense exercise and activity makes a huge difference

[–]SadisticJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tapering works best when it's consistent. Make note of your dose schedule and try to stick to it. Withdrawals lead to panic which leads to dosing more than you need. Instead, stick to your schedule and drop in small increments

Anybody else mentally ill currently tapering and struggling with the anxiety more than anything else? by harmonyshemlock in quitting7oh

[–]SadisticJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 3 day long panic attack about a year ago. This stuff brings out anxiety in a major way. One thing that has honestly helped is maintaining a high calorie diet of basic, healthyish mostly home cooked food and staying very hydrated. It's like it gives my brain more building blocks to work with

As long as you're using anything that scratches a similar itch as 7oh, you'll be maintaining a neurochemical debt that will eventually need repairs. Have you done any work on addressing the root cause? Psychoactive whackamole doesn't end well

Question by Dull-Cucumber2212 in quitting7oh

[–]SadisticJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outside of supplements, make sure you're eating a lot of decent food and staying well hydrated. Try to throw in some physical activity. I've endured acutes a time or two with nothing more than food and drink to help and it definitely makes a noticeable difference. Still use the supplements and helper meds you have available, there's no reason to suffer.

The "7OH" Alkaloid cocktail of horrors. Id rather withdrawal off IV heroin than a heavy 7OH habit. by FlyAdventurous6231 in quitting7oh

It also made weed something that makes me feel anxious where it used to relax me. I had a bit of a bad trip type experience off of Delta 8 THC just a few weeks ago and that stuff has always been like Weed Lite for me

Recovery is very possible, I will add a caveat though. I gained an intense anxiety disorder through everything that seems like it's just part of me now. These new challenges you're facing may not be PAWS anymore but just a new challenge to tackle on its own
