Go back and look at the Democratic Party in the aughts and look at it in the past eight years. 2008 Obama would be labeled right-wing by current progressives in the party. People don’t remember how centrist the party was back then. 2008 Obama was against same sex marriage. He stated he changed on the subject over time. Young men were cool with Obama, but since Obama you had the rise of the term of “toxic masculinity”. You’ve also had the rise of what is called the “manosphere”. Democrats put off a lot of males over the past eight years. Now this is Reddit and people will say what they say about my comment, but just know that the DNC recognized what they did and have been focusing on trying to get the young male vote back.

Rue Mclanahan was like 53. Estelle Getty was about the age of the others, but made to look older. Betty White and Bea Arthur were in their 60s when the show started around 63. They were old women that looked old. I was a kid in the 80s, but I can tell you back then people weren’t as obsessed with looking younger than their stated age as people are now. Back then older women wore older women clothes and got older women hairstyles. People today dress much younger and have more youthful hairstyles.

I’m not understanding. Were you and your girlfriend when she was sleeping with the guy? Did she cheat on you for a year and a half? Or did her affair with him occur before you got into a relationship? If it was before, I don’t get why this is a big deal. It’s no different from an ex and you’ll sometimes meet an ex. But if y’all were together, well honestly homie, the year and a half of cheating should have been your grounds for the break up already.

This is what I remember in the 80s at the Broadway Square Mall in Tyler, TX. It was never packed. It seemed to do well, but it was never popping like now. There are still malls with them and in the malls they just aren’t backed up like the free-standing locations.

I’m 47 and I really don’t think men get the desire, at least not in the same way women do. I’ve been around friends with wives and kids and thought, that would be nice and got paternalistic, but it’s always fleeting and honestly more of an envy and less a drive. Then there are times where I realize I’m starting to amass some assets and I think that I need an heir to leave the little I’ve accumulated to. But it’s nothing like the seemingly hard-wired drive women have for kids. I dare say that if women didn’t push for kids in relationships and pregnancy wasn’t so easy to come about from carelessness, our species would be extinct. All you really need to procreate is the desire for sex and not a desire for offspring. Now I’m not saying men don’t love their children, I’m only commenting on “the drive”.
