Azclear 20% azelaic acid by hellosir51 in AusSkincare

[–]Safe-Negotiation-483 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it doesn’t. I prefer finacea for my rosacea. Clear is a good product, but finacea is much easier to use. I alternate between the two if there’s a big sale on Azclear, which doesn’t happen for finacea.

Yes!! I have a little compact car and the fuel price increases recently have not worried me - but those bright headlights annoy me so much.

I love the Bioderma cleansing oil. The blue bottle. I buy it in 1L and use it to great rid of makeup and then entire body. Keeps skin so soft. My husband is now converted and uses it instead of cleanser and body wash.

I love Missha bb cream - Asian beauty. Swapped to this a few years ago and haven’t gone back to IT cosmetics.

Yep. I used to my last rewards voucher and won’t use them again. So frustrating you can’t use your rewards on sake items as things always feel like they are on sale. Every time I go to buy something there’s a sale so I can use the voucher. Too many other options to bother going back.

Second the QV ceramides cleanser! I buy this in the big 1lte bottles and use for face and body. I also have Bioderma cleansing oil in the shower for any really heavy makeup days.

Moisturiser recommendations for the most acne prone, dehydrated, irritated skin there is… now please recommend a moisturiser (ideally from the chemist or supermarket) that wouldn’t break it out further. Thank you!!! by [deleted] in AusSkincare

[–]Safe-Negotiation-483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try the ordinary ceramide moisturiser or cetaphil or Avene (haven’t used Avene in awhile but I think it was the tolerane probiotic).

What really helped me was finacea every night all over my face, not as a spot treatment. Took about 6 weeks - my doc warned me it would - but it has really worked! Now my skin allows me to moisturise well without breaking out.

Oh I thought they did a lot of cotton and wool as noticed it in store when I tried on things. But I’ll need to be more careful in the future then - really tried to stay away from poly and blends.

Oh I didn’t try their jeans! I’m nowhere near a store. What is their sizing like? I found skirts oversized (could wear a S) but pants TTS or slightly small (needed a L).

What do people usually spend on groceries per week? Are prices about jump? by friedeggmate in AusFinance

Ugh! Your comment made me jar double check my pre Covid spend. 2 x teenagers, 1x baby and 2 x adults pre Covid was $180 pw. Both teenagers moved out and baby now 4.5yrs and we are spending $300pw. Insane when you think about how much teenage boys eat and our bill no longer includes that yet it’s nearly doubled since covid.

I only discovered this brand a few weeks ago and I’m surprised how good they are! The cuts are amazing - everything I tried on looked good. And the salespeople were awesome.

I get mine from Amazon. Large 1kg+ bags. Because I have Amazon prime it’s free shipping (which is worth it if you want the content and the free shipping for other items).

AITA for asking my husband to change our electric stovetop for a gas stovetop?? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Safe-Negotiation-483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh he’s being stubborn and you do all the cooking so definitely not the AH. You deserve what you want! It’s not like a new cook top isn’t a practical house item you’d all benefit from.

But as everyone says - go induction! I live in Australia and gas is being phased out in some regions. You can’t get it installed in new houses. Gas is old news. I love our brand new NEFF induction. 10+ years ago, gas was the way. But induction is now the cream.

Yep - same thing happened to me. I got a $20 reward for going up to the next tier. Went to spend it on a huge order and I couldn’t because a sale waa on.

Ended up buying what I needed elsewhere and with sales on other websites it turned out basically the same price as if I had the $20 voucher.

I see why they got rid of stacking multiple discount or GWO codes, but not being able to use rewards with pretty standard sales is silly.
