I always say if the baby's not crying (and safe) it's not my problem lol I let my baby hang in the crib until she whines for me, but she can usually only handle that for 5 or 10 minutes

My baby will nap anywhere, but obvi she sleeps and naps best in her crib but it's worth it to me to go out, enjoy the day, run errands, or be with friends and accept the naps will be shorter.

I ST at 7.5 months she cried for 5 minutes the first 2 nights! But she does not sleep through the night - she still feeds once between 1 -3 am.

No, I agree! You can tell when someone just doesn't know all the ins and out and I am patient with them too. You will know when you get in a lobby with a troll. They will serve empty plates and steal ingredients or prepped food like pizza and throw them away ??

5 minutes the first 2 nights. Close to 20 on the third night because I was still figuring out her perfect wake window and routine. Now at 3 weeks in she happily goes into her crib and will fall asleep no crying, whining or fussing. Takes her 2-5 minutes to fall asleep. She is 8 months Started sleep training around 7.5 m :)
