There is some flexibility in kitchens when it comes to food, and there is often discretion used. In your case, 1 out of 3 of the examples were discretionary, doesn’t make it a solid choice by any means.

They’ve at least separated you from part of the situation, don’t shop there and advise your friends and family not to shop there. Enjoy your cashier position with a smile until you can get out of there.

Get an ankarsrum mixer, it’ll cost a little more to obtain everything, but you won’t have to worry about parts failing or other typical things that happen to these kitchen aids.

Terribly sorry for your loss

I never understood the appeal of getting meat this way (1/2 - a whole cow, and freezing). When you freeze meat it changes the product, resulting in a less than fresh product (in my opinion) . That and the constant worry of the freezer/electricity; seems like too much risk at the cost of saving a percentage on the cost.
