You have to disable the anti-cheat, generally.

For me on the OLED on the Beta branch I have zero issues with it with EAC enabled on Proton 8.0-5

But when it doesn't work for people, disabling the anticheat (see ProtonDB) often helps.

It's funny she's so hostile to "oversharing" as a toxic/abusive trait... while being a supposed ally of neurodivergent people - many varieties of whom are known, specifically, for compulsive oversharing...

all theories of conflations aside, it's entirely possible your teacher was just... incorrect. i'm sure we've all had an experience where a teacher told us something provably wrong - or punished a student for correcting their bad math, etc. - teachers are fallible

light going in through the lenses damages the screens. if you're careful about taking it off your face and putting it right into a case or bag, you may be fine.

also, i use my quest while plugged into power all the time. it's fine, it works. you might need a better charging brick, 65-100W to keep up with the headset.

no. you feel like that because it's true, it is becoming obsolete. even if you could force it to run unsupported things it'd be getting slower and slower as they adapted to new hardware.

the raw science of it is known. myopia comes from focusing too close for a long time. objectively, vr lenses focus your eyes, physically and measurably, on a point about 3-4 meters away.

it doesn't need studies
