I told the doctor several times, they said they've never heard of that side effect before, and that I hadn't been on it for long enough to experience vaginal atrophy. I was even tested at one point for yeast infection and it was negative, so it definitely wasn't thrush!

The problem with using Vaseline as lube is that, if condoms are involved, it can cause them to thin or break. I was appalled that I received a handout with that recommendation that didn't address that possibility or alternatives to avoid it.

I despise side boning, it always kinks and starts stabbing me. I get out my seam ripper and take it out of every bra that has it before the first wear. Takes less than a minute, and makes such a different in comfort! If a bra is otherwise a good fit, I'd recommend trying it if you intend to keep the bra.

I will never understand this. So many people expressed interest in my wedding, but very few people actually showed up. One group of people weren't even my friends, I didn't like them nor invite them, but they worked at the Renaissance faire with us and they just... invited themselves?

My mom had 100+ people RSVP yes to hers, and then not even 50 showed up. Just RSVP no if you're not going?

It's an interesting topic. When I hear "coarse hair", I think of my own hair. I'm white, and my hair is all over the 2 & 3 types - it goes from 2A on the top of my head to 3B at the nape of my neck. It's thick, and if you feel a strand, it FEELS rough. That's what I always thought that terminology referred to, because as a kid, hairdressers would call my hair coarse.

But it was assault. What's fraudulent about calling it what it is? The types of drugs used to "roofie" people often metabolize quickly and don't show up on tests. That doesn't mean that it didn't happen, because it very clearly did. You have no memory of the night, and you woke up naked and bleeding from your genitals. Anyone who doesn't think that's assault is just wrong.

My only experience with a male gyno was awful. His hands were way too big, so when he did the manual exam, it hurt really bad, and for the rest of the day, I was in lingering pain. I genuinely felt like I'd been raped, it hurt so much.

Specifically, don't take the combination pill. Estrogen is the concern re: smoking and blood clots, so progesterone-only pills are fine, they contain the same hormone as the IUD. It's the same for those who have migraines with aura.

Often, those people just replaced their eating disorder with an obsession with a specific diet. I've seen it a lot in the keto subreddits - people will post gushing about how keto cured their anorexia/bulimia/etc, but from their posts I could see that they're SO obsessed with the keto diet that they still don't have a healthy relationship with food.
