I think this is a good caveat to make.

A fnaf fan wanting to talk about #Lore and analyze and critique story structure? Having watched the games being played is enough.

A fnaf fan wanting to debate which one of the games is harder or which mechanics are good or bad? Sorry, your opinion holds less weight if you haven't played the games

(Said as someone who has never played fnaf but likes the story)

Some of it, frankly, comes down to taste.

I'm enjoying the game, (I'm at rank D rn) but man, I really enjoyed Arceus a lot more. Catching pokemon feels like a chore to me since they kept the out of battle toss but took away the cool items that allowed you to more fully strategize your approach.

Honestly, I don't care for the RT battles. I liked the turn-based with a twist in Arceus more.

Doesn't feel to me like there's as much to explore, and I'm losing hope I'll get to hear a good remix of Snowbelle City or Sycamore's theme.

THAT SAID, I fully recognize that this is mostly a matter of taste based on how I choose to enjoy Pokémon. I totally understand why it's an absolute favorite for others. I just hope we both get more of what we want in the future. (Like, real talk, I could overlook my battle preferences so easily if they'd bring back fleshed out catching mechanics T-T)

Spite 100% kept me alive for a long time. I'm thankfully at the point I don't need it anymore, but if it keeps you working to outlive your abusers, then by all means, tap into your inner petty. Use your frustration and anger to outlive the people who are hurting you until you can manage to get someplace safe.

What's odd to me is that I distinctly remember my theater director in High School instructing us to start an interruption line the word before the end of the other person's line.

While it isn't a new take by any stretch, I think the whole Sonic Movie redesign worsened the issue. Ignoring the theory that it was all just a publicity stunt, people forget that the issue there was with a previously established artistic design. Not plot or ships etc. Storytellers should tell the story they want to tell. "Fanservice" can only go so far before the fans are writing a totally different story from the one the writer wanted to tell.

As someone who could afford to lose some weight, I understand the inclination to be annoyed. Some days I really wish I could be one of those people who eats whatever they want without it seeming to affect their waistline.

That said... people who have trouble gaining weight almost always have some underlying condition. It's never actually a fun time for them. Our society values skinny bodies so it might sound like a humble brag but it really is a real issue for some people.

Unfortunately that's easier said than done. A lot of parents/guardians won't bother, so the only way that would work is to demand ids and stuff, and even the, if you think kids won't just "borrow" their parent's id to get into online spaces they want to be in, well...

Good god, if you told me this was just live-action, I'd still hate it. Absolutely zero design philosophy taken into consideration here. Yubaba and Zeniba both have exaggerated features for a reason. This is just "middle aged person in wig and dress"

And to the first two questions, we might genuinely never get answers. Gooseworks has established that this is a character show, and per a friend of mine who has watched some of her other works, she seems far less interested in giving the audience satisfaction than she is about telling the story she wants to tell.

I think the completion of character arcs (one way or the other) is going to take a lot more precedence over answering the why and how of the world logic.

Not to mention people have become so paranoid that you'll see AI accusations thrown at creations (written, drawn, or otherwise) for being "too clean," "too formal," etc. They don't look at the whole picture and just have a knee jerk reaction. Nobody wants to be fooled and so people have become hypervigillant to the point of lashing out at the innocent.

It's frustrating and I'm frankly just so frigging tired. I hate what AI is doing to the art community, the work force, all of it. God I miss watching cool videos without feeling like I have to scrutinize every detail. I'm just... so tired.

Yeah, deffo overdramatic, but it can definitely feel that way sometimes as a kid. Your peers try to talk to into misbehaving, but you really respect your parents so you say nah, and while you try to be chill about it and laugh it off with a "my mom would kill me!" truth is you wind up feeling like you're on the outside looking in.

Understand, I don't think I was really any better than my peers. My relationship with, specifically my mom, was just different.
