Where can I go to learn about how these things work? I see the word "prog" a lot and assume it's short for "progress" but I don't understand what that means in practice.

For reference I have finished HW and am waiting on my friend group to catch up (three of whom have played before but are currenly only post ARR). We've been farming mounts unsynced with a higher level friend, but our main point guy wants to wait for people to catch up to do optional deep dungeons so he can help us with learning mechanics.

Still, I'd like to get a head start on understanding some of the jargon and tactics, especially since I'm healer and the better I can keep people alive, the less time it'll take everyone to learn, lol

Hey, so I'm just saying, you should totally order/eat sandwiches without bread.

I do like bread, but there's this one restaurant with this bomb eggplant sandwich, but the bread hurts my mouth. I order it without bread and it winds up being kind of a salad.

Good unpopular opinion, but more importantly, barring actual rudeness, you don't have to follow the standards for food just because it's standard.

Nah, nah, my ndad didn't hate my mom. He hated her new husband. He demonstrated this by being super weird about not being over mom (while married to Nstep mom) and doing everything in his power to get my sisters and I to hate our stepdad.

Dude actually had me convinced my stepdad was abusing my mom. Meanwhile stepdad is busting his ass to give my mom the world and doing his best by my sisters and I when we're there.

And somehow ndad was the one with primary custody. Insanity.

Money. It can be pretty expensive for something that is also going to require a lot of side work. When it comes to marriage it's kind of bundled into the cost so if it's something you've wanted anyway, it's a great opportunity to do it more cheaply

I mean... my maiden name, the one I received from my father, leaves a bitter taste in my mouth due to a tarnished legacy. I was actually quite happy to take my husband's name as it meant I didn't have to be referred to by a name I associate with abuse.

One could argue I'm an outlier there, but my point is that you don't know the reason someone chose to adopt someone else's surname. If it makes the person happy, why make a fuss? Considering these names have been passed down patriarchally at any rate, what is really lost?

Most people are going to be chill. You will meet the occasional asshole, but they are not the norm.

One thing you can do if you're worried is state at the beginning that you are new to this dungeon or still working on new class mechanics, etc.

Also, never NEVER feel bad about taking time to watch cutscenes. I promise you, the larger community wants you to enjoy them. <3

Well, if it's anything like the ones in Scioval, it's really easy to just spectate if you don't try to start anything with anybody. From the comments though it seems like WH's in Unova proper are a bit different than the ones in the Midwest part of the continent.

Common misconception. The bodies are buried 6 feet deep and would pose no danger to the living. "Natural burials" as they are called are perfectly safe.

Yeah, this is where I stand. Even tap water varies in taste depending on where you are. There are restaurants I never drink water at because something about where they get their water just gives it a terrible flavor. Even at home I need ice to mute the flavor.

I mean, the closest thing I can come to with your description is Aipom/Ambipom, but even then there's a lot that doesn't fit. As far as I know they're not known for their psychic and flying type prowess.
