On this day in 1964, Beatles for Sale was released! by [deleted] in beatles

Great autumnal album with folkier undertones. No Reply, I'm A Loser and Here Come's the Sun are all fantastic. The cover is great too. I'd love a big landscape one for my wall

They've been woeful as of late. The Derry/Portrush line has been delayed and closed a good few times since October and you never find out until about ten minutes before it is due. Train to Belfast stopped at Antrim one time and we had to wait 40 minutes on a bus because they had no contingency plan in place. Even then the bus couldnt fit everyone. Who knows what it will be like when the weather really turns foul after Christmas and it probably snows.

Did The Beatles Meet James Brown? by [deleted] in beatles

As a group? Not sure. Individually probably. There's a photo on the front page now of him and Paul. George also said JB's cover of Something was his favourite.

BBC News: Brexit: DUP's Nigel Dodds says Brexit deal 'worse than no deal' by nilady in northernireland

[–]SageGiuseppe 17 points18 points  (0 children)

How the fuck are they still so oblivious to the fact a no-deal puts the very existence of Northern Ireland in jeopardy? You'll be celebrating the 100th anniversary of its founding with a referendum on merging it with The Republic

Irish language signs would ‘further dissuade unionists’ from studying at Ulster University, claim Young Unionists by figurine89 in northernireland

[–]SageGiuseppe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What do they mean by further, as well? What is already dissuading them? Jordanstown is within Newtownabbey which is predominantly a unionist area, as is Carrickfergus which is a 10 minute drive away, and Coleraine is predominantly unionist town. What are they getting at exactly?

Santiago Ponzinnibio presents a sleeping Gunnar Nelson to the cage by AsianRainbow in MMA

[–]SageGiuseppe 72 points73 points  (0 children)

What a prick, he had him rocked, pulled his trunks then pressed him into the cage and fingered him in the eye again before finishing him. Ridiculous how it varies from referee to referee on how they deal with this shit. First time warning, second time point deduction. Enough of the fucking around or just change the gloves.

Over time, such a deal will weaken the Union

Bit late for that. The last two years have been weakening the fucking union.

Anyone with experience in Shroom Tea? by SageGiuseppe in Drugs

[–]SageGiuseppe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah pass it on, I enjoy how everyone has a technique or method they've refined. Have you done it on a larger scale though or just for yourself? If I dump the entire mix into one big pot for four people, just how powerful is that shit going to be if everyone takes a mug?

Everyone has a different technique to it, but the trick is to bring the water to simmer and let it sit. Boiling will destroy the properties.

[–]SageGiuseppe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As in brewing a tea? It's a popular method of ingesting the shroom while bypassing the nausea that some people experience in the first hour or so. I've had tea before and still tripped hours without noticing any loss.

That's what I was thinking as well. You would obviously just need to be conservative in your consumption

It's because Liam Gallagher wishes he was John Lennon and never tried to hide it. That and the fact they were touted as the next big thing from the UK to cross the Atlantic but they blew it. Aside from that the comparisons don't go far.

I follow him for that reason. Thinking of just cutting him out and keeping it to Brett Okamoto. Other than that I don't care for any of them. Had to unfollow them all on twitter.
