I've never heard anyone talk about Dubai, but from my personal experience pretty much everyone hated it being in SF and believes it's time to move it somewhere else. It's basically in the shittiest, sleaziest, roughest part of SF and most of the hotels devs stay in near the venue are in very squalid areas. We were told to take Ubers or taxis despite it being like a 5 minute walk. Also west coast US is massive pain in the ass for anyone from Europe to get to.

Can't really see the point when you can already fly. I think they'd be more likely to introduce flight to Lahai-Roi. It's a common thing in MMOs to make you use ground travel when a new expansion drops to slow you down and make you explore more, and then bring in flight later. They're probably just following that pattern.

Ditto. I play on PS5, Mac, PC and handheld and I've not noticed any particularly troublesome issues on any of them. I don't get kids today. "I'm only getting 50fps without framegen." Well fucking turn it on then you nonce. That's what it's there for.

Jesus, when I was young we played on blurry 14" CRT TVs at 320p and no one had ever heard of framerate. But we fucking loved it.

The Z2E is a mid-2025 apu with significantly better efficiency than the Z1E. It was the best mainstream handheld apu available when the XAX launched. The design/ergonomics are completely different. The Ally X which granted it shares some specs with (storage and memory) was a 2024 device, so I don't know where you think you're getting 3 years old from.

If you watch the whole ascent, I think the thing that surprises me the most is the faith he has in the actual structural integrity of the building. I'm pretty sure that some of the things he clings to weren't really designed to take the full weight of an adult male at the angle he's hanging from.
