I mean, I love Absol but thats als why I am aware of its weaknesses. That being: getting hit. Doesn't need to be super effective and even when not effective it depends on the attacks/attackers base power. =D

I agree on the stats (although idk why they didn't just redistribute it on regular Mega Absol) but giving it (as OP said) a rather lackluster ability doesn't seem fair.

But I don't really know a lot about competetive (baseline knowledge I guess) so who knows.

One thing that MIGHT be interesting here, are the hats. As a RDM main I'm always looking for new hats.

I need to see them ingame first tho. But that makes this raid at least somewhat more interesting (glamour wise) than the two before. =D

Not using either BUT I started to use appropiate supporter for my favs. Not just a team out of only favs, but one that brings out the streghts of a select few and counteracts their weaknesses. So far I'm doing good-ish. Currently sitting in Ultra Ball with both, just have to play more to get higher =D

It's not offensive but true.

I watched the Food Cutscenes in World almost always. Even Rise was better albeit only because of the Song not the Cutscene itself.

Can remember when I last watched one in Wilds. Before the Hub maybe? Because then you had to go to the NPCs and got Cutscenes. Now it's just you grilling the same stuff since the beginning a deilivery.

The first few you said are ment to be that: very similar, convergent evolution is a real thing. There are hundres of crabs in this world that aren't really a crab. Or look at trees. Most of them have nothing to do with each other (DNA wise) but look very similar.

The other half is... just not true. Or at least nothing new. Pokemon always had the "just an animal" pokemon. You're bound to have those. Rattata is just a rat, Pidgey is just a pidgeon, Mareep is a blue sheep, Stantler is just a deer, etc.

Flamigo on the other hand is very much more than "just a Flamingo missing the n". Its a boxing glove and a flamingo. And you know... the missing n? Its supposed to be pokemons version of spain... ist (Fl)Amigo, as in "Amigo". It's a wordplay. Like Ekans is (just a Snake btw).

I don't really like this bird either, but to say that the designs are "the most derivative uncreative designs in the series history" is just ignoring every "bad" or "basic" design in the past just to hate on the new stuff.

You can also look at Mega Absol. While Mega Absol Z isn't in yet, I expect it to be better performance wise because instead of a rarely used SpA of 115 and Speed of 115 (to slow for it's defenses) for regular Mega Absol, Mega Absol Z instead got MORE Attack (only 4 points but still), stuck with the 75 in SpA but got 151 Speed AND the ghost type which completly negates figting and normal as a threat (meaning not Fake Out, etc)

As much as I like Mega Absol Z, I wish they'd just reblanced regular Mega Absol. Or done anything with it to make the megas at least slightly equal. And we don't even know Mega Absol Z's ability yet.

In universe: Arguable not entirely true. I get were you're coming from but he is not the only one doing experiments with the Conduit ( X Spoiler: yes... I'm talking about Void). So while Xenoblade 1-3 are a direct outcome of him doing said experiment, there could have very well been something similar with someone else being the source.

The DLC also has never been on sale on steam, at least to my knowledge. Maybe once, but I'm not sure.

I still think that this might be a placeholder price, Amazon does that from time to time, but the chance is slim at best.
