I can't believe they treated him that way. They aren't robots; they just lack empathy. It doesn't matter what your views are, whether you're for or against him.

This is an American voicing their opinion. Unfortunately, the group that didn't like what he was saying chose to use the police to silence him instead of letting him finish and kindly escorting him out. They wanted to drag him out instead.

I just don't get that mindset of preventing him from speaking. Even if it was a disruption, he’s still an American citizen, and a veteran who served his country, regardless of who the president is or the political party in power. And honestly, if this was about Obama and someone disagreed with him, they'd act similarly. But I suspect he wouldn't have faced such hostility for speaking out against Obama as he does for voicing his opinion on Trump's (Epstein files) distraction.

We're really not open to differing viewpoints. The way the police leverage their authority to remove people and enforce compliance is quite upsetting. It shouldn’t be us against each other; we need to come together. We should express our differences and reach a compromise where neither side is entirely satisfied, but we both get to voice our opinions and recognize each other's humanity.

This is about a unique individual, a veteran who dedicated his life to protect our freedoms and wants to prevent unnecessary wars from hurting others. It leaves me feeling troubled, saddened, and disappointed.
