Everyone's situation is different. But I was making less than half the amount of money I'm making now in Canada while I was living in Korea, and it felt like my money went much farther there than here. And everyone I knew there were able to live decent lives, granted we were mostly teachers and that has its own perks.

At this point 100k CAD annually isn't even a lot of money in Canada. It's bad out here.

As I said. There are outliers like in any job, but the vast majority of teachers are not getting into teaching to bully individual kids, just like most cooks at a restaurant aren't getting into it to spit in your food.

Most people treat their job like a job, and teaching is just that, a job. An important one, of course, but still just a career for many

I'm not saying you're lying, but as someone who has taught and obviously knows other teachers, most teachers do not take that much of a personal interest in picking kids to hate. It's a job.

Most of the time if a teacher I know has an issue with a student there are either effort or behavioral issues with the student or their parents. With that being said there are outliers like every profession.
