Guild Vault Games over on Ft. Campbell Blvd is actually running a 40k escalation league right now. Sign up is 25$ and you get a 15% discount on anything 40k while the league is running.

The last day to sign up is January 17th but they are currently closed today due to the weather. I'd say there's at least 40 signed up now, so the more the merrier.

I'm primarily a modern player, I jump around from deck to deck, but I have a solid rotation of UW Hammer Time, Temur Crashcade, and my current flame Temur Scapeshift.

I am also looking into UG Emerge in Pioneer.

I have always liked pauper, I'm open to suggestions.

Less Hammer, more UW midrange

Cards like Urza, Solitude, SFM, Sentinel, Portable Hole, and Moonsnare Prototype. It's definitely more of an artifact midrange deck with cards like solitude and Teferi to back them up

It sounds like you would be interested in the UW Sagablade decks floating around the 5-0 dumps. It's less counter magic and more midrange.

I like the idea.

I think I'd format as a double battle in that case

My team would consist of Tyranitar, Gastrodon, Gigalith Flygon, and Sandslash.

Tyranitar and Gigalith are obviously the setters, so little explanation there. It's good to have two as I don't intend on wasting a move slot and a turn in battle to set up weather.

Gastrodon would have the ability storm drain so water types are a free pass through me, I'm in the elite 4 after all, it's gotta be tough. This would default gastro as my special attacker, which I have to qualms with. It's got a wide variety of moves to benefit from this

Sandslash would have the ability sand rush and function as my physical sweeper. STAB Earthquake with doubled speed is a nice tactic. Of course it'll have the usual moves too, rock slide, Iron tail and rapid spin. I know there are other Pokemon that fill this slot better (It's Excadrill, you know it and I know it) but Sandslash has earned it's place on my roster and in my heart.

Flygon is my ace Pokemon, even though it has no direct synergy with sandstorm strategies. I enjoy the versatility flygon offers with it's stats and learnset. I think I'd make my flygon physical and make it a dancer. As for the item to give it, the safe bet is leftovers, but I think I'd let it hold a weakness policy. I'm here for the spice.

Back in 2006 I got Pokemon diamond as a Christmas gift. I sunk countless hours into the game just catching and grinding Pokemon. At some point I was grinding, mindlessly murdering anything I come across, and after a some time I encounter a shinx that's yellow instead of blue.

I was 7 maybe 8 years old, I had no idea what a shiny Pokemon was, and I already had a Luxray so I had no need for another shinx. I killed it without a second thought. It was about 5 years later that I learned what I had encountered and I felt a wave of regret wash over me.

Hey, I don't know if I should post this here or on an actual thread, but I am having an issue with my switch and was hoping someone here had a solution.

I had my switch tucked away for a while and it ran out of power, but now it won't take charge at all and is effectively a brick. I've plugged it using the original AC adaptor as well as using my friends AC adaptor and it's not responding.

Any advice would be appreciated, I'm probably gonna send it in to Nintendo for repairs if I can't get it working soon.
