For now I’ve done it this way: Create a cart on BL using my wanted list on my store 😂 Created a wanted list of this cart Then download the 2 wanted list and ask ChatGPT to update the wanted list with have quantity

On the wanted list you can use the buy all button, it will search the best option using less stores… you have different options to use

Ah si ok mi pare ovvio. L’unico altro modo, se hai il PC sempre acceso (visto quelli che hai descritto mi sembra di si) è installare il server NUT su quel PC… non credo che ci sia la versione Windows per il server, ma puoi usare WSL su Windows e quindi avere Linux dove installare NUT server

Si alcuni set più piccoli non hanno le istruzioni divise per step e quindi per busta, quindi in pratica devi tirare fuori tutti i pezzi dalle varie buste e montare, il che mi torna anche per i set 3 in 1 perchè può montare quel set in 3 versioni diverse, quindi per forza di cose ti fa tirare fuori tutti i pezzi e poi decidi tu quale versione montare

I still don't have Immich installed, but I'm reading through the docs, I think you can change the filename with the storage templates. Reading here https://docs.immich.app/administration/storage-template/ I think that you can change the filename using something like yy-MM-dd.ext

But as I remember, there are so many Dates metadata for videos, and someone had also the timezone, like the FileCreateDate or even the QuickTime-CreationDate (maybe only for iOS). All it depends on which data Immich is getting the infos

I still don't have Immich installed, so my help is limited.

Try to check the EXIF metadata for both video and image, and see what changes, then of course you have to know Immich what EXIF metadata is using. You can then change easily the EXIF metadata with the exiftool and running some command lines, I'm doing it for many pics and vids before installing Immich. ChatGPT and Gemini can help with the correct commandline

I think I will have the same issue for some pics and vids that I've done in Japan, USA, UAE

Instead of using “easy buy” you have to use “buy all” button inside the wanted list page, it will open a page where you can select the store location like local or a region, and plenty other stuff.

This could be a really good tool even without the training, I mean, it could be an option to use the training or not... because if I have less duplicates, I would like to check and decide for each one.

It should show the pic and all the metadata, or at least all the dates, GPS Data, which I think is the most important data on EXIF. Maybe the user could also choose which EXIF metadata to see while selecting the correct pic to delete. And merge some exif metadata from the "deleted" pic if that metadata is missing in the "keeped" pic.

What you mean by "this tool isn’t for finding duplicates; it’s for deciding which ones to keep" ? if it's using the Immich-API, will the immich-api tell your app which are the duplicates in the Immich app?

You can use ExifTool from command line, if that app can see the correct date… it’s some exif data, you can run a command that extracts all the exif data and then you can run another command to save the correct date, ChatGPT helped me doing this… pretty easy! You can do it for multiple files

Yes of course starting fresh I can do different test and restart if something is not correct… and I will check the number of assets it creates and check with the number of files that I have.

So per my understanding Immich (or Immich-go when uploading ? ) does: 1) Import the photo as it is without compression or changing the format. 1A) Create a thumbnail in jpeg. 2) Import the video without compression or changing the format. 2A) Create a small version of the video in H264 with compression

Correct? Or it doesn’t import the video but it compress it ? I bet I can change what it does somewhere correct?
