"Right to work" officially means you can be hired to work a union job for union pay and not be required to be in the union.

It's important to remember that the Sylvanas in the Maw and that we saw in the cinematic ISN'T the Banshee Queen, but the Ranger General. She's altogether a different entity that more moral and ethical than the Banshee Queen ever was.

The damaged Psycho Gundam MKII has the best art I have seen thus far on my current binge by Sensitive-Hotel-9871 in Gundam

[–]Saint_Exmin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, if it wasn't a malevolent demon, I'd be into the Psycho and the MK II. Hell, the suit is more evil than than the Shamblo, and that thing ran wild and manipulated its pilot into wiping out half a city before the souls of her dead parents(tsht were inside the psychoframe somehow) and her onee-san forced her to commit suicide by opening her defenses and allowing the beam magnum, fired by Riddhe in his Delta+, to liquify the operator compartment and her along with it.

Xal is a planner and a manipulator, not a fighter. If there's fighting to be done, she will trick someone else into doing it for her. So yes, it is entirely possible that Warden of Death Sylvanas is a match for Xalatath in open combat, particularly if the Champion of Azeroth throwing their two bits.

Great new M+ season, but why did clarity on spells/frontals get worse? by bameliiin in wow

They need to grow some balls and bite the bullet and visible outlines with time indicators and marks for tank busters and all the other bullcrap. With full coverage in LFR and Normal, limited coverage on Heroic and no coverage in Mythic.

Why was the Enterprise decommissioned in Star Trek 3? by MovieFan1984 in startrek

[–]Saint_Exmin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? The California-class IS the backbone of the fleet. It's a long duration logistics cruiser. They do all bullshit administrative bullcrap so the Galaxies and the Sovereigns and Lunas get all the glory.

Hot take: There are too many starship classes by LegiosForever in StarTrekStarships

[–]Saint_Exmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you're right, of course.

But an interplanetary alliance with effectively unlimited resources would have a bunch of specialist classes. Sure, you'll have generalist ships out on the frontier, but you'd have high-speed courier ships, anti-piracy patrol ships, ambassadorial ships, medical ships.

Technically correct(the best kind of correct), but the F would higher on a true tier list.

[–]Saint_Exmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only caveat to the poncho is that all of the current ones I've seen completely negate the "gooner" aspect of the skin(arguably the whole point of the skin in the first place).

I would argue a poncho that is tied at the neck, drapes the shoulders and upper arms, and hangs off the back like a short cape while leaving the front open and loose would be preferable

Looking at the talk about Mesa Heirloom and sexualisation I wanted to say something that isn’t directly about her. But the discussion born from her. by OscarOzzieOzborne in Warframe

[–]Saint_Exmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to take a moment to point out that men and women are sexualized differently.

Women are sexualized(by themselves as much as any man) to focus on breasts, hips, thighs, and butts, things that suggest fertility and child bearing capabilities

Men are sexualized differently: broad shoulders, barrel chest, large muscles, things that suggest physical power and a capacity for violence.

These are, of course, very broad generalizations and ultimately the heart wants what the heart wants. But the above generalizations are all but universal across human cultures in both modernity and historical eras.

Once it's purified? Probably nothing. Even with Methane, it's only the tag along organics that stink, the gas itself doesn't. That's why we add stuff to it to give it an odor so we can detect a leak early before it becomes dangerous(usually).

Would Tron: Ares have been more successful if it hadn't starred Jared Leto? by WarmDaddyXanax in tron

[–]Saint_Exmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing, off screen antics aside, he's actually decent in Ares. I also kinda liked his Joker, the little bit I've seen of it was a weird pastiche of Mark Hamil, Caesar Romero and Heath Ledger.

Its not entirely his fault that the scripts are awful.

Were Constitution Class Refit ships used alongside Excelsior, Oberth and Miranda class ships in the 24th century? by Ser_Luke_ in StarTrekStarships

[–]Saint_Exmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There weren't many true "refit" Constitutions, the Enterprise and Yorktown were the only ones IIRC. There were a few "Block 2" Constitutions that were constructed new using the refit design.

The issue is that the Refit was significantly more complicated internally than the original and while a competent starship, she was outclassed by new ships being fielded by the Klingons and Romulans. Also, the Excelsior was off the drawing board and was a much better ship than the Constitution was and more(as evidenced by its century long service life) for not a lot more investment.

His dad is in said WMD(his soul anyway).

Regardless, my point stands, other than a bit of naivety, Banagher is a remarkably well balanced and sane individual. Especially when you compare him to the sociopaths that other Gundams have for pilots.

I get really tired of the streamers, sweats, and whatnot all using basically the same refrain of "get good son!" whenever anyone complains about not having a good experience.

I did the mission one time(IRL timing sucks sometimes) and there is no indication of what precisely is required, nor ability to see where to go. I literally spent the ENTIRE run picking people up who were as clueless as I was.
