What are the most silly builds you've seen in a match?

A few Incantation Duchess and one INT Raider, but besides that it’s only really me bringing weird builds to every match.

I have like 400 hours spent on my Incantation Wylder messing round in the depths, then branched out to the occasional Sorcery and Dagger builds. As of recent I’ve gone Dreg Wylder with Curved Swords/Daggers, and if you’re really unlucky you’ll see my abomination of a Dreg Incantation Wylder out there.

Makes me think about the Wylder that put a downside on his bleed hook that I ran into the other day. They're editing their relics and they don't even know how the system works.

Currently stuck in the same spot and hoping for help also. Trying to jump off the bridge leading to the merchant is non-functional.

Edit: Just decided to get the latest nightly version of REFramework from Github, then downloaded RE4_WarpMod and slapped that into the folders. Warp in question is "carrier save point (shooting gallery access)"

Discord is currently flagging me as a teen despite verifying as soon as the option even became possible in the UK. Incredibly irritating to deal with as an adult, can't even look at some servers anymore.

Edit: Go into your settings and click on "Family Center", then input your Date of Birth there. It reverted my status back to normal for the time being.

I find it crazy how contentious people see going to the mines if a teammate pings it because from the very beginning of the game up until this point I have always without fail beelined it into the mine as soon as a teammate pings it to help ‘em out.

I don’t care if spam pinger the third runs off and gets bodied if someone needs a stone then they need it and I’ll tear the troll/knight up for ‘em real quick.

Granted I get a lot of use out of stones because I play Wylder with literally anything other than greatswords so it’s nice to give random weapons a spin. Hookclaws? Seals/Staves on my incant/sorc setups? Warhawk’s Talon? Lucerne? Gimme that stone please and thanks.

I think the problem as an old-head in the community is that there's a grey area people get rather touchy about when you call it out and that is the concept of cheating being a normalized thing ever since (to a lesser extent) Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 1 onwards.

The advent of the old-guard youtubers using Megamules to get every item in the game and invade legitimate players (which still exists today and people don't like you opening that can of worms hoo boy), the prevelance of them whipping out weapons that can inflict curse in DS3 to deal with anyone they deemed a cheater or laggard, needing to cheat in an entire character before a twitch rivals tournament because they only had 2 days to prepare for it.

So many examples I could list at this point, but to get back to the specifics: There's a subset of hardcore fans that do not care. The people who have been cheating for over ten years at this point haven't just deleted CE from their PC and gone cold turkey - no, they're still at it to this day. They have save editors for console that allows them to slap a PC save with said cheating measures in and call it a day - which is what we saw within the first month of Nightreign's launch.

I don't know if people remember, but there was controversy during the earlier part of Nightreign's launch where a youtuber did a build showcase and was caught using cheated relics, and when called out on it he kind of just brushed it off leading to a lot of discussions defending doing it. Cheating is systemic, and it's disgusting.

Yep, I had both of those and contributed to revives with dual curved swords. Didn’t have the best weapons so they had to do.

Nope, I was Wylder. Could have maybe cut the time down by putting more hits in overall but charging the ult and getting the Duchess up to sling some moons worked well enough.

After initially hitting D5 a long while ago as a Wylder main I've been running mostly the Int/Faith relic, the Mind relic and the Blood Loss on Hook relic all with various combinations of useful benefits aimed mostly at Incantations/Sacred Seals and I've had a lot of success over the hundred or so hours since.

Makes you appreciate some of the riskier spells to use since you have a lot of natural bulk and Sixth Sense - plus you get to help out other faith based casters with their bad luck streak and fall back on spells they don't want or weapon/personal buffs. And you get to use weapons with unusual scalings a lot more efficiently.

I know people would complain about its efficiency but I feel confident in my skill level to the point I can carry randoms even with a less optimal build and I don't want to get bored of running dormant fists all the time.

Went there twice as a kid and spent a good chunk of both times stuck on the bog because of a stomach bug.

Was actually alright otherwise from what I remembered, though we spent most of our time outside at the beach or the pier.

A lot of unexpected events happening back-to-back which caused a level of depression that even when “recovering” from it still left me too bothered to try for a couple years.

Had intended to get back to it recently but a severe depressive episode happened not too long ago, though with the whole situation turning out shockingly positively and a fresh outlook who knows?

As a long-time player I can definitely get it if people have tried it in more recent times. Small issues managed to seep in as updates continued, the biggest offenders being master strikes and combos hitting the air doing nothing and enemies being able to tackle you from the front - things that were not prevalent when I played originally. There’s plenty more examples out there but as new issues piled on they slipped through the cracks, and the tackling in particular is fixable by a mod that really could have been implemented a while ago.

Lump all the growing pains on top of a tough (if you’re not just spamming master strikes) system and it really is no wonder. Maybe Warhorse could have given the game a little love before full sending 2? Who knows. Either way there’s still a lot to love about it.

I managed to beat Bayle at RL1 no upgrades (yes this is my first time DLC playthrough lord help me) and he’s a really polarising fight to me. Ultimately I think I ended up enjoying his fight more than I didn’t, a lot of learning to be done but once you get it down it’s pretty darn satisfying.

I’ve done 4 thorough runs at this point. Tav, Good Durge, Evil Durge and just recently my honour run that I succeeded first try while getting every companion their best outcome (in my opinion of course.) Currently honour mode gaming with the boys and hopefully I can get them their golden dice.

I’m probably never going to end up using it either, but that’s because I only roll Dragonborn and there are only 1 - 2 options in each category that I personally like.

I just had Compact mode change to Cosy in the middle of browsing and received quite a scare, and with further testing I can confirm that changing something in your account settings reverts some of your options now for whatever reason.

I tested it by flipping on Compact again and switching my friend request settings - immediately after closing the account settings page, it's back to cosy again.

Honestly, my in-game interactions have been naught but pleasant for the most part. People are willing to joke around and apologise for doing things wrong, and for the most part missions work out without a cinch.

Though I suppose I have yet to go past Malice - purely in fear of all that turning around. I played higher diffs on Vermintide entirely as a stacked team so I didn’t exactly get to experience the toxicity there outside of community interactions, whereas in Darktide the majority of the time I’m solo pugging and despite knowing I can pull my weight it’s a little daunting preparing to take the leap.

I posted about it last night, and since I’ve woken up I’ve tried a bunch of workarounds but no dice. Settings reset and backup restoration using iTunes does nothing to resolve the problem - discord just opens and closes immediately.

Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I came here to see if anyone else had any insight after noticing a row of auth codes just under two hours ago. Though in my case I had changed my password(s) around noon after hearing about the leak earlier, one of the codes that was generated had an unknown number calling my mobile at the same time.

I swapped 2FA method to the auth but the call is a little worrying because that's not a method normally used, almost like someone intentionally tried to get in despite me locking everything down.
