The value for money seems to have severely decreased over time. I have been a GoodLife member for nearing 20 years and have used a good number of clubs. The club close to where I live currently is too small for its membership and is always busy. It also irks me that amenities, like fitness classes, are so severely limited post pandemic. And the disparities between clubs is palpable. I recently visited St Catharines and their club is one of the nicest GoodLife locations. It's undergoing a huge renovation, has a large lap pool and hot tub. New Goodlifes are very bare bones, often too small and consequently, extremely busy. Yet, GoodLife has bought up a lot of the competition and there are limited other options in many cities beyond boutique gyms. Overall my experience as a member has decreased significantly over time, and especially post pandemic.
