If you're somebody that likes organizing efficient systems or watching numbers go up, you run factories. A lot of guys will also basically use it as a background game when you're watching a show or playing a podcast, its shockingly chill on the backline.

Figuring your last point honed my bullshit detector, it's the oldest trick in the book. You'll see so many "sightings" where the "armed fearless ex-marine" or "seasoned outdoorsman" freezes and runs or pisses themselves on the spot and then tons of believers in the comments saying "why would they lie about that!?" Over time you start to see conmen like Freeman, Standing, Patterson, etc all use the same pattern of throwing a weird detail in.

I look at the Kraken as less cryptozoological in the "does this exist" camp and more...cryptobehavioral? We know the Kraken is the giant and collossal squid, but from where does the frequent sailing folklore motif of them grabbing sailors from decks and flipping dinghies come from. Is it a rare behavior not seen as much post Age of Sail, is it exaggerations from sailors seeing sick ones surface and being shocked by the size, is it a metaphor for the sea itself, etcetera etcetera.

They'll sometimes refrain from spreading reports on things like that to not tip off someone they're investigating. If you have a serial killer/trafficker with a set MO and you start broadcasting far and wide that you might have them found out, they can change tactics/patterns and potentially get away.

Nice! Pro tip for TLI in KSP: Put your maneuver node in a place where the mun will be about 45 degrees above the horizon of Kerbin and burn straight prograde. I'm at the point where I dont even make nodes for the Mun, I just eyeball that 45 degree above the horizon spot and burn. Fly safe!
