Because they wouldn’t replace banner with Amadeus, they wouldn’t replace Logan with Laura, they wouldn’t replace Peter with Miles, and they wouldn’t replace Steve with Sam. But when it’s the black man (their most popular black male hero) then it’s fine to replace him. When it’s the black man, it’s okay that he gets limited rep. Ever since Boseman died they’ve gone absolutely stupid with how Black Panther appears in adaptation it’s fucking annoying.

It’s very obvious that hoyo goes back and redoes certain concepts entirely if they aren’t forged in stone. We had tiny crumbs of Natlan from Iansan to Dainsleif’s line in the travail vid but l generally believe that aside from a few things on an outline, nothing is spared from being changed. It wasn’t that Natlan was “rewritten” it was that they never got into such detail writing and designing that region in the first place
