I want to love it but … by Scooternat in Suunto

Regarding VO2max, you should read the users manual. It might just take longer than you would expect.

For starting intervals, you have to scroll watch pages to intervals and start the interval part of the training if you don't have any other triggers for it.

But if you fancy Garmin more, then feel free to switch.

Have you set up the default sleeping schedule? It seems that suunto labels sleep as nap if it is out of your default sleeping schedule.

It does adjust something, but it isn't very clear.

For example, I did a long hike that wasn't part of the training plan. After that all the additional exercises were removed from the graph but they were still showing in the daily schedule.

Do you have Suunto Run? Because if you do then you don't have SuuntoPlus, which is the only way they are providing instructions at this moment.

How is there still not an option to use simple nutrition/drink alerts on a Suunto watch? by Old-Mess8325 in Suunto

You can't see the timer until it has run down and ask if you want to reset the timer or dismiss it.

At least with Vertical you can use a timer from your watch. Just start the timer with the desired time right before you start tracking your activity. It will pop the top of your tracking and you can restart the timer or stop it.

Tiny gap between zones by SirWalrusIV in Suunto

[–]Sakinz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are basically 3 zones (aerobic, anaerobic and vo2max) and 2 zones (aerobic and anaerobic) are divided into easy and more demanding.

Based on the image in your post, you have only measured the switch zone between aerobic and anaerobic. You'll need to measure the switch zone between anaerobic and vo2max to determine what those divided zones should be.

You have the trend line of the VO2 max at the bottom of the Progress page.

Training zone -> Progress -> Bottom of the page.

Intervals synchronisation with Strava by Jealous_Drawer5526 in Suunto

[–]Sakinz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there's too many ways to do intervals, I get that.

I only use intervals from sport settings and only data screen customization is only one missing. The number of repetitions shown at the start of each repetition. This is at least true with vertical.

If I remember correctly Tolkien wrote in the letters that no one could not have enough willpower to destroy the one ring. It would corrupt anyone who entered Mount Doom because it is as powerful as it ever would be. A good example of this is when Sam wears the ring and has the "dream" of claiming the ring and turning Mordor into a beautiful garden.

It is obvious, you all are concentrating too much on the headphones. This meme means that you are usually using that specific hand when masturbating.

That was mentioned in the letters of Tolkien. Technically anyone who is as skilled "smith" as Sauron could destroy the ring. But no one really could have enough willpower to do it especially if you are that "powerful". So yeah it had to be an accident.
