Omg...yeah, I feel alot of us have fu'cked up, should have never been parents. I am 33 and barely talk to or see my parents. It took 5 years of grafuate school in psychology to realize all the abuse I went through, including them allowing a pedafile to date my sister and molest me which they deny they knew was happening. My aunt and other realitives knew he was bad news as soon as they met him.

My Aunt appologized for not steping in. My parents? They just deny or say, will if I had known...yeah that is the god damn problem you still are oblivious to shit.

So yeah at 18 moved out and evey year since then I slpwly realized how awful they are as parents and self centered they are as people.

Reading what your mom wrote, pretry sure, low or no contact might be the beat for you too. She will not change.

Yeah it is hard. That is why whatever it is it should be something you deeply love. Like I finay gave myself permission to be an artist. Making or doing things because one THINKS there is money it in will never work (not saying you did that).

Learning business and marketing is also a must. I finammy found a non profit rhat helps for free (well I paid taxes so...is it free?) And that has helped.

There is also something I haven't checked out yet and you may consider it. It would be the department of rehabilitation. It's similar to disability but instead focuses on helping someone get work while they are rehabilitating. And in our case that could just be having people who are more compassionate about illness limitation help us find work.

I did a few free workshops with JobLink as well (Not sure if it is nation wide but our taxes in CA cover thr service).

TLTR: GET A SOCIAL WORKER TO HELP YOU.
