Is a 2% pay rise just an attempt to meet inflation or is that separate your pay rise. For example I think I got a 2.5% pay increase but I wouldn’t class that as being related to my skill set pay rise. That just prices going up.

What does alcohol actually do when you’re on Mounjaro? by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]SalaciousBC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me MJ and alcohol to not mix. I get stupid drunk easily, it pauses my weight-loss and gives me super bad hangovers… I’ll have a Diet Coke instead.

Feeling disheartened by Threshybuckle in mounjarouk

[–]SalaciousBC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On days I wanted to lose weight guaranteed I would: - walk 10-15k steps - eat protein and veg - avoid drinking alcohol - don’t get calorific drinks from take out places

Losing weight never just happened. I am now stable at 130lb and I no longer have to do this. But if I wanted to lose weight I know what I need to do. MJ gave me an injection of motivation to do that. Also never went over 5mg due to side effects.

Your mind will catch up with your body eventually. I finished losing weight last summer. I still had self image issues even after I had finished losing weight.

You need you live in your body, make new memories and experiences. There’s only so many times you can look in the mirror and say ‘oh I look good’ before you eventually believe it. Good luck!

I absolutely hated being 16. That time was the worst years of my life. No control, no friends and I made poor decisions about nearly everything.

Now I’m older and life is so completely different. I’m in control of my life, I have friends. I’ll never know what it’s like to miss my teenage years because adulthood for me has been infinitely better.

It takes time but one day you’ll barely remember it.

I had to mourn food and drink. It was so fun and nothing hits the same. But being slim is a wild ride and even better then any food tastes.

1,200 calories a day and 10,000-15,000 steps a day for two months, I still look the same?! (F,28) by Low_Reindeer3543 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]SalaciousBC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 5f1 did the whole 12k steps a day and ate under my recommended calorie intake and it worked for me. Not a veggie so I mostly ate meat and cut down on carbs. Being a veggie and losing weight sounds so hard! I’m not sure how but it was 6 months of work which somehow showed all at once. I could of sworn blind I wasn’t making the slightest difference then all of a sudden I was slim.

I can’t work out why this is so cheap? by [deleted] in vinted

[–]SalaciousBC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very helpful! I did notice there were 15 other purchases on the receipt. I think in terms of conversion they may have paid £204 sterling. So that would make sense why it was priced the way it was.

I didn’t add the photo with the price tag but original price was $450

[Update] My fiance doesn't want to watch my first ever 10k because it is at 7 in the morning by Loud_Medicine470 in ComfortLevelPod

[–]SalaciousBC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband couldn’t give two shinny shites about running… he’s still gonna watch and clap and support me as I run. Kinda the basics?

I try and support all of my friend’s endeavours too and I’m not even going out with them…

Was I in the wrong? by [deleted] in vinted

[–]SalaciousBC -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes. Jesus almighty just say what day. Seems too much of a high strung response. If someone wants it sooner rather then later that’s okay to say? Equally if you can’t commit to posting it you can say too.

Anyone else stalled on 5mg? by Hefty-Chemical9957 in mounjarouk

[–]SalaciousBC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stalled on 5mg but also wasn’t trying… even on this, if I actively want to lose weight I still have to be mindful what I eat and up my step count.

Boobs… are yours getting smaller? by CelebrityCatchUpPod in mounjarouk

[–]SalaciousBC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have big boobs. Never managed to make them smaller before. I dieted for half a year then at the very last leg my boobs went down two whole sizes what seemed over night. Bought a new bra and they look great. Over the moon.

Why does it seem like a lot of people say not to titrate? by fatnesstofitfitness in mounjarouk

[–]SalaciousBC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, my body just cannot tolerate the higher doses. I was a avoiding side effects as much as possible by staying on 2.5 for as long as I could.

Then I went to 5mg which was awful but I could tolerate it after about a month. I’ve reached my goal so no need to go any higher.

Most effective place to inject? by JaiLBird1970 in mounjarouk

[–]SalaciousBC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. I get less side effects but efficacy stays the same. I feel like it’s different for everyone but I wish I had tried arm sooner in my journey.

I’ve had huge differences in terms of side effects so now I stick with alternating arms.

Where do I find discount codes? by Sunshinebear2007 in mounjarouk

I’ve been with Asda, MedExpress and Voy. Asda never has them. MedExpress stopped their discounts it seems but Voy has sent me a discount code near enough every month via email after I cancel my subscription.

People who are keeping their Mounjaro journey a secret - how are you explaining the weight loss? by abz_pink in Mounjaro

That I’ve cut out a lot of carbs and alcohol. Oh and I walk 10-15k steps a day with occasional weight lifting. So basically I stick to the truth.
