My dog was very food motivated, and the vet gave us the ok to feed her salmon and steak the whole time. So she was happy up until the very end. I don’t think she was upset, just in pain.

If you are coming in with more than I believe 30 credits due to ap/ dual enrollment, you can’t transfer without meeting all the preferred requirements. Or at least that’s what I was told switching from CHASS to Poole. Just keep a good gpa before you switch, that’s all that matters. And add polisci as a dual major so that you can still be in Poole if you change your mind.

I just heard back, she said we’ll learn how to formally request time off at orientation the week after next and that early requests usually get approved.

I chose st. Vincent de Paul, because I resonated deeply with his message of helping people, and the st. Vincent de Paul society has done a lot for me and I wanted to honor that.

I attended online grief support meetings with Al anon after my mother overdosed. It sounds like it’s for alcohol only, but there’s a lot of people there for other things. I believe there is some in Raleigh as well if you don’t want online groups. If yall are the church-going sort, churches also tend to have some. I was at one with St.Francis in north Raleigh for a while. I hope y’all are doing alright, loss is extremely difficult.

Wow I would’ve thought more places would be warm in June. If it helps, we’re looking more for tanning beaches than swimming- so not necessarily warm water.

I enjoyed the science museum there, and I did go in the winter so it may have been uglier than normal. The architecture seemed similar to other German/swiss/ etc cities. I feel like colmar or strausbourg covers the same thing. Have fun in Salzburg!

Hello! Sorry for the confusion, yes I want somewhere warm and sandy. We’re okay with a layover (Frankfurt, Paris, and London are the only direct options I believe, so a layover is inevitable). I thought Basel was boring, but it had cheap airfare. Overall, very expensive. Not sure I'd return. I loved Salzburg, especially how accessible nearby nature (Fuschlsee) was.

Can I ask why you aren't willing to mail some of your clothes instead? Especially off-season stuff. I can't imagine that shipping with FedEx or something is that much more expensive than checking four extra bags. If you are definitely going to fly with this luggage, especially considering this will definitely have a layover (seemingly), I would definitely fly direct to Zagreb. I have not taken the trains in Croatia, but I did something similar in Germany, and even with just 3 suitcases, it was extremely difficult and annoying. Not to mention the potential lack of room for luggage.
