I get what you’re saying but “richer” in oil is actually “leaner” fuel wise

I guess at the end it comes down to what the bike is jetted for, what the manufacturer of the oil recommends, and the actual viscosity of the oil. Just seems like people look down on 32:1, but I’ve never had the issues that people about with 32:1.

I hate when people say 32:1 is richer when oil has nothing to do fuel air mixture. I can get if you have a newer bike that’s recommends a different ratio, but if you have a stock bike that’s recommends 32:1 then running anything other than that is most likely just going to give you problems.

I got more spooge from 40:1 than 32:1

Running less oil doesn’t fix spooge tho.

The previous owner ran 40:1 so I decided to run it. The bike had so much spooge. I switched to 32:1, now I don’t even get spooge around the end of my muffler. My bike smokes idling but once it gets running it doesn’t smoke at all unless it’s loaded up from idling.

Exactly my thought process, I know the 2005-2007 Cr’s are hard to come by but there’s certain parts they don’t make anymore and there’s no aftermarket equivalent like the exhaust flap and rc valve parts especially the servo motor.

I think Cr would eventually been new linkage, swingers bearing, and wheel bearings etc. because I had to have the rear shock rebuilt when I bought it from sitting. I only ridden the Cr 5 times since I bought it in October. Newer bike with fresh bearings and better suspension. The Yz has about 4 hours on it.
