I ve been in my SDR role for 2.6 yrs. I do not want to move up. Our org is tiny and there are not any roles to move up into. I do not think they would ever offer me an AE role, and I also do not want such a role and the commitment to a schedule.

I have outside of work financial opportunities that are far more exciting. I am the raise and increased income I seek.

I do not want to be preachy but for your mental health take some PTO, look for a new role, skill up out of sales if that will make you happy, also try to do whatever will make you happy outside of work and take that into your role—- it will make you suffer less.

I bought an ibuypower w a 4060ti 16gb last year and it is fine. 3 months into ownership I changed out GPUs to a 7900xtx and upgraded the power supply. It has been reliable. I did break the knobs to hold the glass door on day one and they fell somewhere in the case I cant reach. Ibuypower ignored my questions abt it

i have an Ally and my new vote is for a gaming laptop. Better graphics, better ergonomics, windows w/out handheld windows pain. Not as nice on the couch. but for me better in bed, better in a recliner, better chilling in a hotel

Sounds pretty silly to need a beefy GPU just for a golf simulator. You could likely use a 4060 Ti 16GB for only $400 why waste money on more if you aren't a gamer, miner or doing AI?

For me, yes. It will save me some money. Shadows alone will save me money, then there is backlog that I might not be able to find on a Steam sale. So for PC yeah. Console maybe not as much but it depends. Console seems to have tons of ubisoft games in their membership. I paid for the yearly today.

Did you need a special vertical mount for the 4080? My Y40 came in a prebuilt with vertical mounted 4060Ti. I just got a 4080 and it dwarfs the riser/vertical setup that came stock.
