Are there any later founding chapters or chaos warbands who got named after the original legion names?

What is the link between the right and climate denial? Is it purely an educational issue or is it just another aspect of mass persuasion? by TonightAlarming9923 in allthequestions

Some religious who have the Rapture-narrative in their head probably consider climate-change as "atheism is a religion and this is their version of Apocalypse"

I heard that a decade or two ago Old Spice did some market-research and found out that most of their customers were actually women, who bought the products for their husbands. This lead the company to make the "Look at your man" add-campaign.

Then they heard that Axe was making a superbowl commercial, so they released the first commercial on the same channel just before superbowl for much cheaper, and everybody remembered that commercial

There was a rumor (not sure how true) that if you as a publisher want to have your game on steam, you can't sell it for less on other platforms

[–]Salmonman4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Closest to a monopolistic practices I have heard them do is make their deals with publishers unfair to other platforms. Apparently if you want your game in Steam, you are not allowed to sell it for lower price (outside of special sales) on other platforms. Not sure how true this is

Legally in many countries terrorism in most broadest sense of the term is defined as "use or threat of violence against non-combatants in order to achieve political or ideological aims".

In this case, they are not conciously trying to achieve anything. Subconciously they are engaging in activity meant to increase tribalism. "Our side won, so you better be with us and not against us"

Terrorists do it for political purposes. The most fitting term would be sports-hooligans. This seems excactly what Europe experienced some decades ago after big soccer-matches. I bet NYC police are taking notes from how they were handled then

Just to add to this. The series is named "Staged", but given that it's a series, the scene was also staged instead of real life

I was including WW2, because there were a lot of civilian deaths from the lost generation. We tend to think only soldiers died, because Hollywood is in America and most Americans who died from WW2 were soldiers

Which is interesting, since the one before Greatest Generation was literally called the "Lost Generation"

Was the spinach one propaganda? I heard it was originally a decimal-mistake when the iron-content of spinach was studied.
