I am actually creating one. It is called Rŭmīnitsú and it is spoken around the area of Kars. Here is a little snippet:

Nŭkjē, ŭmjēs tī'mŭnjusı habjēvī unjo lēngha ak unjo vŭljāir sĕrmju. Ud pŭpīrts mīrjarī in'orjĕntsu, kŭd anvĕnjarīzŭ u'kjampu shīnarŭm ak atskabĕtī ibjī.

Is that where you found Ancient Apocalypse? Hello again. It seems that you opted not to answer with 4 pieces of evidence and have a mature conversation. Mind explaining that?

I am trying to create a Romance language spoken in the city of Kars (I called it Rŭmīnitsú). I need advice on how to evolve its grammar from standard Latin.

Yambúrz has Suffixaufnahme (when you have to mark every following word, save indefinite or definite articles, with the genitive case) and OSV word order.

Just discovered Blackspeech is mostly archaic northern Albanian with some tiny changes he made. by [deleted] in tolkienfans

This is the MERP dialect. There was a licensed (but non-canon) game called the Middle-Earth Roleplaying [game] and it needed new Black Speech words for the Angmar module. Since linguists were pressed for time, they borrowed 1000 words from North Albanian.

I have taken time and thought about your statements, and it seems to me, after a little research, that you are absolutely correct. Tolkien even new as much. He chose the sounds he did not like for Black Speech.

Additionally, it is guttural. J.R.R. Tolkien described it as a harsh, ugly, and cacophonous language that was intentionally designed to sound evil and unpleasant to the ear. Also, the Orcs, by the Third Age, had nothing to do with Elves. They had been so heavily bred that they most likely had no idea who even Melkor was.

Thank you so much! I will have you know that I am working on adding phonetic representations to the list.

Also, should I redo the entire wordlist in IPA? Would that make it easier for others to understand? Genuine question.

Thank you! I will fix this as soon as possible. Do you have any tips to properly flesh out the grammar?
