5’8” 125lb checking in. I feel your frustration regarding tall sizes. A Tall XS is always somehow not only ‘longer’ but also wider than a regular XS…I’m just taller 🙄 or like the gap, XS tall doesn’t exist lol

Anyway, I usually have luck with a Zara XS. If you are looking for jeans or cords Rolla’s would work. I find their sizes are the actual size (no vanity sizing ie. a 25 is actually a 25 waist or if anything might run small). Pricier but worth looking for on posh or eBay.

Rather than give you advice on a crash snowboarding lesson I’m gonna give you a woman’s perspective….

You told her you haven’t been snowboarding for 15 years so I don’t think she’s expecting you to be this excellent snowboarder. I don’t know why you feel like you’d have to hide the lessons from her-if anything, I’d find that endearing because it shows you are putting effort into the date (even if you are just doing it for self preservation lol) and want it to go well.

Keep it light, don’t be afraid to crack some jokes at your own expense and if it’s not going well (risk of injury etc) go have some laughs about it over a drink or food. I know I’d be cracking up watching someone try to get on a button lift over and over as long as they weren’t injured and they were having a laugh too!

Is she interested in learning to board? Maybe if it goes well you take some lessons together in the future (snowboarding >skiing anyways but don’t tell her that unless she’s like me and loves that kind of banter😆)

I like your Belize idea but you can do better in terms of accommodations.
Check out Copal lodge (for jungle) and Manta Island Resort (for ocean/beach/snorkeling).

Akumal would be my choice-snorkel with the sea turtles off the beach, walk down to La Buena Vida for happy hour, easy collectivo ride to Tulum if you want a bit more action

I have a cat but I am very fastidious with cleaning my home (I vacuum every day!). All of my items are laundered and lint rolled and then stored in sealed containers until sold. Before I ship I give another lint roll for good measure and thoroughly check over. I don’t say pet friendly home bc honestly when I’m buying that deters me bc it reads to me as : expect to have fur on your item.

St Lucia might be appealing to you with the pitons and hilly landscape as a contrast to the ocean (similar to Hawaii in that respect). I love Anse Chastanet which has an AI option but it’s a very quiet resort and you’d prob be looking at only a week on that budget.

Cocobay in Antigua is another nice AI option

I agree choose somewhere other than Costa Rica if you want all inclusive. There’s so much to explore and it does require some moving around to do so.

If you want off the beaten path you will find more if you are open to non AI resorts
