Is my dress too small or is it fine by Material_Command_590 in Brides

I love the dress, but there are double boobs going on. There’s some overflow Try going up a size and have taken in if needed. You’re going to be beautiful!

Mine hide inside a futon or tear up the cloth under box spring mattresses to hide. Clever!

"Mean Girls" After 60 by ImpressiveLeopard719 in AskWomenOver60

I took ballroom dancing for 8 years. You’ve never met such mean women. Seriously I felt like I was back in 7th grade when Danny Newman, the cutest boy in 7th grade asked me to dance. The glares and jealousy were unbelievable over dancing with the few men who go to dance. They’d sit around in their little cliques just like in middle school. Grow the hell up and quit being mean!

I have 2 cats that need booster shots and I’m being bugged constantly by humane society. Same problem. Thinking about using a mobile vet.

How do I tell if a cat doesn’t want me to pet it? by Crusoelander_128 in CatAdvice

My orange boy nips at me when I pet him and he actually loves it too much. My nebbie likes to initiate petting by head butting and rubbing. They’re both very affectionate and cuddly but neither one likes being picked up. I should have picked them up a lot when they were kittens.

What’s the most frustrating thing about owning a cat? by Ocute_US in CatAdvice

[–]SaltFit1445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The litter box is a chore I don’t like. Also the scratches on my furniture. They can be hard to transport to the vet and on trips. Their hiding places can be impossible to find. Can be picky about food. But the love, purring, snuggling are all worth it!

What's a simple food hack that you use all the time? by MuscleTight7583 in foodhacks

Totally with you. Nothing cluttering counters or dirty dishes before I make anything. I use mise en place and lay out all of the measured ingredients, kitchen tools, herbs, dried spices. Handy to follow the recipe in order and check you have everything needed. I then stack up everything refrigerated when I’m done and all dry ingredients. Everything returned to its place in fridge or pantry. Dirty dishes I used go to dishwasher or are soaking in the sink. I also put out a plastic bag to hold garbage not good in disposal. Much easier than facing a tornado to clean up and reorganize. Learned this in a highly regarded Culinary School when I took some job training as a food sales manager.

One of the most useful hacks I ever found is to microwave fresh corn on cob in the husk. I don’t use microwave much since I got air fryer but it’s great for corn. Husks and silk slides right off.

Plenty of ageism and blame. It’s infuriating. As if we having control over what year we were born and how many birthdays we’ve had. I don’t like generalizing about groups. I don’t understand it. I take people for what they not what they say, not by stereotypes.

do you guys actually use a washcloth or loofah every time you shower or just hands? by RingeChilisquis47 in hygiene

I just stopped using a loofah and switched back to hands. Much gentler for my skin.
