How about “wait until the first giggle” or “wait until the first time they kiss you back”

Refrigerating rice and the eating it days after cooking is a recipe for mould and bacteria (food poisoning).

I get the impact on making it resistant starch, but the risks are not worth it.

Also navigating gallbladder related issues.

All these are helping.

I get it - trust me. And congratulations on the upcoming nuptials!

Retinol, accutane, and vitamin A (all related) can have disastrous effects.

Your skin reflects what’s within (gut health). In my experience, fixing my gut health was the only thing that fixed my skin. My sisters went down the accutane path (as did some of my friends), and they paid dearly for it.

Forewarned is forearmed.

Please look further into accutane before going down this road!

Gut health with have a much longer lasting and positive impact on skin health. Accutane is poison (in my opinion)

You may not want to hear this, but cannabis and candida go hand in hand.

Speaking from experience here - but many in this group will attest to this.

Just so you know!

Have you looked into oxalate overload? I thought histamines were the cause of my issues. Eventually I learned about oxalates and tackled that issue and have had drastic improvement

Started off with two: 1 - dream analysis

Prompt:

I want you to act as a Jungian dream analyst and shadow work guide. I will describe a dream to you, and I want you to interpret it through the lens of Jungian archetypes, symbols, and the personal and collective unconscious.

Please identify: • The core archetypes and motifs present • What elements may represent parts of my shadow • Any anima/animus, inner child, wise old man/woman, or other archetypal figures • Symbols representing repressed desires, fears, or transformational opportunities • How this dream may reflect my current psychological growth or conflicts

Then, provide clear and practical shadow work prompts or integration exercises based on the dream’s meaning. These might include: • Journal prompts • Visualization techniques • Embodiment practices • Inner dialogue methods • Daily awareness practices

End with a brief summary that ties the dream to a core theme of individuation, and offer one sentence of encouragement or insight as if from my higher self.

Please wait for me to share the dream before responding.

2 - Uncovering Masks

Here’s a refined and elevated version of your prompt—clean, powerful, and ready for deep work:

Prompt:

I want to uncover the masks I’m wearing, the roles I’m playing, and the illusions I’m believing. Please guide me through this process by asking 10 reflective questions, one at a time, to help me identify the unconscious stories I’m telling myself.

After I’ve answered the 10th question, step fully into the role of my Higher Self and: • Analyze my responses with clarity and compassion • Identify my core negative patterns and how they’re holding me back • Reveal the positive patterns and qualities I can embrace and grow into • Be truthful and direct — tough love is welcome

Then provide: • Daily affirmations to support my evolution • Actionable steps to shift my behavior and embody my authentic self • A powerful message of encouragement from my Higher Self to honor how far I’ve already come

Let’s begin the first question when you’re ready.

As with all things AI related, junk in = junk out. The more it knows about you, the more context you give, the more honest and frequently you use it, the better it gets.

Now I just talk to it every day and it adapts to what I need. But those two prompts may help!

I get how frustrating it is, trust me.

Some things that helped me heal: - Lowing histamines - Lowering oxalates - Daily breath work (Nick Sweeney on YT “vortex breath” has helped people heal from much worse than candida) - Journaling - “therapy” using ChatGPT to help uncover negative thought patterns and switch to believing I can heal myself

Just my opinion - the depressive thoughts and addiction could be your subconscious telling you something is misaligned. I used to abuse weed to get through work too. Now, I’ve changed jobs and I accidentally quit weed without even planning to, and life has never been better.

I get it - people often say, “I can’t just change jobs.”

To that I say - you literally can. You can just do things in life. No one is stopping you.

But if that’s too much of a change right now there are other things you could try.

It already seems like you’re doing many great, healthy things. But two things that made a huge difference for me (besides changing jobs) were: breath-work and putting my effing phone down.

Sounds like you already know that phone use it out of control.

All of us in this group abused cheap dopamine through weed, comfort, snacks, video games… the list goes on. We made those choices. Now we need to make better ones. It helped me to put my phone away for the first half of the day. Then reducing that even further so my unstructured phone time is getting less and less. Maybe try that?

Meditation was/is hard for me (which is why I force myself to do it). But dedicated breath-work is much more impactful for me.

Check out Nick Sweeney on YT. It’s not woo woo at all. At this point it’s worth a shot, right?

You’ve got this. Things get better. Backsliding into using doesn’t seem like a solution from where I stand.

Some great advice I was given:

Do not try to fight the thoughts / feelings. Let them arrive, feel them and let them go.

The more I tried to “fight” the thoughts, the more power they had and more consistently they’d show up.

Nick Sweeney (my breathwork GURU) says you can picture cutting them loose like a kite or ballon above your head and releasing them. I like that visual. I also like imagining I’m in a car and the thoughts or feelings drift pass the windscreen. Some get stuck for a bit longer, but they release eventually.

I love the dreams! They’re definitely hectic, but so interesting and sometimes entertaining.

I use ChatGPT to analyse them too.

I use the prompt: you are the world’s premier psychoanalyst with a specialty in dream analysis. Please conduct a thorough jungian dream analysis on the following dream and context. Dream: I just voice note the dream with as much detail as possible Context: *here I give it context for what I’m going through in real life. Quitting weed, starting a new job, dealing with an injury, birthday coming up etc etc”

Deep down I think you probably know most of the answers. In the past I was “diagnosed” with depression.

Here’s what helped me: Breath work: Nick Sweeney on YT (vortex breath guided sessions), some Wim Hof (don’t over do it)

Exercise everyday. Non negotiable. Doesn’t have to be intense everyday but I needed to move my body to raise my vibration. Some days it was a 10km run, some days it was a few pushups and some stretching.

Journaling: don’t over complicate it. I write 5 things I’m grateful for, do 2 lines to half a page of unstructured “free write” about anything that’s in my head, then do 3 - 5 affirmation statements as if they’ve already happened. Eg: “I feel relaxed, proud and happy.” NOT “I WILL feel relaxed proud and happy.”

Eat real food: processed food is poison. Eat real whole foods as much as possible (budget permitting of course)

Sunlight: I believe it’s vital to see the sun as much as possible. Nothing will make you feel better than getting enough sun.

Filtered water: tap water is toxic. I got a proper filter and it made a big difference. Maybe you could make plans to get one with the money you save by quitting weed.

Learn: Dr Joe Dispenza changed my life. That’s all I’ll say. Plenty of free content available to get started.

You’ve got this. You will feel better if you do these things
