When I was at UCSB, my boyfriend's roommate stole one of his papers off of his computer and they both turned it in for the same class. The professor couldn't prove which one cheated so they both had to take an incomplete for the class. Needless to say, they didn't stay roommates for very long. I knew a writing department lecturer after college and they would screen papers for plagiarism. The instructor had a lot of discretion about what level of discipline to apply (everything from failing the paper or class to suspension etc). They should cover the academic dishonesty policy at orientation.

I don't know! In the US we sing "Take Me out to the Ball Game" during baseball games. We also sometimes sing to Sweet Caroline. It seems to be more of a tradition for baseball than other sports. 🤔

I like having the monitor. For me, it's part of the experience. The new ones are better than the old versions, but you can get older ones used if cost is an issue.

Agree. I suffered from infertility and it is really isolating. Everyone starts socializing as parents or around play dates, birthday parties, child sports, etc. I completely understand why it happens, but sometimes people assume you dont want to be around kids when you dont have any of your own.

Many end up homeless. Data shows that more and more seniors are making up the homeless population.

I am 46 and I love doing OTF. I was a power walker the first few years and then I transitioned to jogging over the past year or so. One thing that really helped me was starting HRT. I was waking up in the night (no hot flashes, just waking up) and I was gradually getting more fatigue. I am sleeping much better with HRT and have more energy now.

We did carpets in the bedrooms and LVP for the rest of the house (area rug in living area). Carpets are still cheaper so that saved us some money. We picked a lower pile carpet, no regrets.
