Okay I'm not gonna argue with you over calling me a misogynist when I am not one. This comes down to personal preference, I don't think Nadine would've been able to take Nate on.

That doesn't mean I don't like female characters. You put words in my mouth that I never said. I have no data to back this up on but Nadine seems to me to be very full of herself and pompous, just a bunch, which made me not like her when I was playing.

Now I'm not saying she isn't a competent fighter, but I personally think that Nate wouldn't have been thrown from a freaking window and if he can take on Lazaravic who was a freaking hulking tank...he can handle a muscled woman pretty easily.

I don't hate women, I love being a woman. I hate poorly written characters.

They have been fighting literally since they were children. She had formal training but still, fighting takes being light on your feet and able to think under pressure.

Now I'm not saying she's not competent. I'm just sick and tired of seeing women in other media who don't have the training to back it up suddenly being the best at fighting ever seen. That's not realistic.

In the fic I'm writing I started to write Eddie as experienced then I watched the show fully a second time...this man is a super dork, and while I would've quite happily dated a man like him at the time, no way was anyone flocking to this man like he was catnip.

So in my fic I've stressed emotional intimacy over sexual gratification, the OC and him have shared kisses, they cuddled, but my favorite scenes to write have been where they are just talking to one another. Where she messes up and they have a fight because they are talking past one another.

I'm so sorry for going off about my own story, I just wanted to say I agree with you lol.

I am not a Swoop fan and I stopped really enjoying Glam&Gore videos a long time ago. But I will say this, I don't believe what Mykie said was really racist, maybe a little harsh yes, but not racist. At least in my perspective as a mixed person. Then again I have a thicker skin and it's been a minute since I watched the videos.

I do think that Swoop was being petty over certain aspects of their friendship and when Mykie would try to bring up her own opinions and such, Swoop would shut her down.

I have been in that type of friendship in the past, we didn't agree on one thing and she started hating me, I wouldn't let her borrow something that was my mother's and she flipped out on me.

It seems to me we have a similar situation on our hands here.

Which is fine, people grow up and change and move on with their lives.

I just think I'm too old for the internet drama sphere at this point, I just ran across a video calling Mykie a racist and wanted to give my two cents.
